Interesting, I haven't really looked into that. So by this rational, a computer thats SLI/Crossfire two 1GB cards can only have 2GB ram on 32bit system?
Well I know on in my system when I was running XP it would only see 2.75gb out of 4gb. (768mb video card, but also had a sound card with onboard memory) I've heard of people with extreme systems saying XP saw as low as 2.5gb max, but I haven't actually head of anyone saying it
The gameplay video killed a little of my excitement
Ditto, but replace little, with basically all. I'm sorry, but compared to SupCom1 that gameplay video looks like crap. It looks like a Mod/TC of DemiGod, not SupCom2. SupCom's only problem was that it came out before technology could really let it shine. If it was released today for the 1st time, it would rock. That game was made for quad + core chips & beastly graphic ca

Logitech MX Revolution here also. I love love love this mouse. (And I'm someone who's bought many mice/keyboards until I found one I liked. Now if Logitech would just clone it but at 2k+ dpi I'd be in heaven. Only downfall of MX Rev is it's only an 800dpi mouse, although it tracks extremely accurately even with sensativity near maxed. (I always get comments when others try and use my mouse about how insanely sensative I have it set)

If you really do want to go to the extreme on RAM, i7 is the way to go. It's the only chip you can hit 12gb RAM on without having to shell out for 4gb sticks. Also, to save a few bucks skip over Vista and install the Win7 64 bit RC. It's free (until march) and in general just kicks ass for an OS. So I'd go with something like the following: Intel i7-920 > $28

Hmm, I don't run Sins under any compatability mode with Win7 64. If anything it's always seemed to be one of the stablest games in Win7. (I even ran it on my 4 yr old laptop under Win7 last weekend without any issues. (well a few slowdowns loading when zooming in/out because of slow HD & single core & limited RAM & old video card, but no compatability related issues) Actually, I was fairly impressed by how well it was running under Win7 on an older system on

Not sure if our issue is the same, but I just posted about a mini in a large 9ai game about 30 minutes ago. https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/343788 Only difference is mine was stable until I saved and re-loaded it on a later day. e6700 @ 3.2 4gb ram 8800gtx on win7 64bit beta here. Mine didn't report a memory issue though, not even sure if win7 64 would have the same limit.

So last weekend I was playing a huge multi w/9 ai's for 5+ hours without issue. Today I got to try and load the save game to finish playing and it's mini-dumps galore. I haven't made any changes to the game files etc since that day, yet the game crashes withing 2-5 minutes. I think once out of all the tries I made it close to 15 minutes before it crashed. This is the only times I have ever had sins crash on me. (I am running entrench 1.01) Here is a directory with all the mini-dumps f
Will you still be incorporating the WLD mod effects as well to the repack? Thanks,JavaslingerI decided against it for now.
I would also like 2 request that it be incorporated also. (Or at least have 1 with both) If you're trying to improve the graphics and effects, why not include all the pertinent improvement mods? (I really just wish they wouldn't limit you to enabling only 1 mod at a time so repacks wouldn't be needed for every combination.
