I tried to get into 2160... But oddly enough it was the lack of Russian accents for the ED that ruined it for me. I never got past the demo. I decided to stick with Moon Project instead of upgrade.

I agree with the previous suggestion that jump inhibitors block jump access to adjeacent friendly planets that also have inhibitors. That would make your outer planets basically be a stronghold built around the jump inhibitor, because as long as the greatly increased in hp inhibitors are alive they cant go deeper. Thus protecting your inner planets and making it so the enemy cant just bypass your outer defences. But if they do manage to get the inhibitor the battle moves to the next system or tw
Yeah i dodged a bullet with this one. I checked the availability online and in a ten mile radius, it was 1-3 copies in one gamestop. And the ONE copy they had was hidden in a lowershelf like some two bit rollercoaster tycoon clone or a dora the explorer game :( . And the xbox games that are half the number take half the store(the 2x the price of the pc rack).
The AI plays rather well. In the short time ive been playing the game they have taken me down without fail. And they do give you chances to be friendly with the missions they occasionally dish out. I havent gone near hard yet so i cant say how aggressive they are then, but they have taken out my attacking fleets easily enough and quickly decimated any unguarded colonies i put up on normal. I came to soase from GalCiv 2 also, and the ai compares very well. Allies are actually helpful, an
