I usually play as the vasari: 1) Build cap ship factory first - I use the cap ship exclusively to get the first asteroid for the free experience, and the faster you expand, the more resouces you get. 2) Buy 100 crystal and upgrade your homeworld infrastructure - This improves your credit income, the faster you do it, the faster your income increases. 3) Build crystal then metal extractors - At the beginning crystal is more precious than metal. 4) Build 2-3 scou

I wouldn't always sell the metal, if you're playing as Advent/TEC then you may need large amounts of metal to build some basic frigates, hence the reason I said "From there, everything varies."

Personally I do the following: Build cap ship factory, Build 1 crystal then 2 metal extractors Buy 100 crystal, upgrade homeworld infrastructure to maximum Build 2-3 scouts, explore Queue capital ship. Take capital ship out to take nearest asteroid. From there, everything varies. Enjoy --BB

My 2c Each galaxy file has fleet cap built in, Each [B]team[/B] gets an equal share of that, Each team member gets an equal share of that, If someone gets killed, the numbers are re-adjusted to give other team mates more cap If a team gets killed, the numbers are re-adjusted to give other teams more cap

If you have a fleet of ships and you tell them to attack a target, as soon as the target is destroyed, the ships immediately stop. They stop phase jumping to the destination and will be between planetoids, they then try to drive at sub-light speeds directly to wherever you tell them (very slowly).

A small suggestion: put the button to expand logistics/tactical capacity within the build menu for defences/structures. I find it a little annoying to have to go back a menu, click build, back again, then to click the menu I started from. Great game so far!
