The Borg should always hit hard with even a single cube and take up atleast half of the example 100 ships. In MP and SP if anyone were to loose half their fleet to a third party it will throw off the games balance. If the bounty system could be used to make them destroy X amount of every single players ships.. them MAYBE... but the point stands... they have nothing to do with the Dominion War.

if a terran planet keeps geting bombarded, eventuall the quality should degrade (for the other planet types too) to desert, to volvanic (or ice planet for a nuclear winter), contested planets constantly being assulted would suffer on a planetary scale.

Cloaking is possible, hell its in Sins (Vasari Scout) as well as the Phase Outer Hull ability, i am sure these can be tweeked to fit as needed. The follow the same rules you cant fire while cloaked and that is a must (Dont give me the "fire while cloaked BOP" from the last STar Trek TOS Movie crap, it was a prototype and broke Roddenberry's Rules). I agree, the Galaxy should hae colonise (all those TNG episodes with the poor refugies, or settlers, or "indiginous life in danger" they moved alot of people) and the Akira should be take the role of carrier, the mainstay of its attack could still be the ship just supported with 2-4 wings. (Called a "Thru-Deck Carrier Class") True you dont need to follow the role slots, however i do think you need a carrier cap, or atleast try for it when you can. I totally agree about the Borg, TNG was about "what lies beyond" with the powers of the Borg and the Q (BOTH reduced to nothing in Voyager). But you shouldnt use the maqui as the pirates they only attack cardassian and the odd federation ship. Orian Sindicate!! After reading the post here is what i got as possible solutions. Borg = Pirates : Just that simple, the are random, agressive, a constant threat and fear, they will strike anyone anywhere, and usually WITH warnring (mod the pirate taunts to "Resistance is Futile" or "You will be assimalated, your home, your culture and your peoples will become part of the Borg..." Bribing them dosent seem right, (only refrence is Janeway making deals with the Borg with limited success" so maybe remove

Bump. I would want a mear graphical moon than looks nice and orbits properly. However if it can be done better, i think the easiest way of doing it would be changing an metal/crystal astroid into a moon, set it to a path (if they can be made to move) around the planet, and from that you could use the menu for building a mine, (create new upgrades available only to this object).
