There may be PC gaming's lifeline right there: in the economics. PC games are downloadable and that makes them cheaper. Console games are getting more expensive; no doubt about that. The free market will establish an equilibrium at some point, and PC will still be in the game. Of course, consoles will see that and start to offer download options, but they still have to advertise, a

Plus, while consoles developers tend not to be any smarter than "let's make a game where we shoot stuff!!!! Preferably foreigners!" and "let's not be sexist, put a woman partner with the hero. But give her as little clothing as possible.", the PC crowd seems to be "what ways can we stop our customers using our products this year?" and, of course: Person 1: "So, digital download, that means we don't have to pay to make physicals discs, don't have to deliver to all the other shops"

Yeah, I'm not having a 'my machine has a bigger penis than your machine' contest, I was just illustrating my point by giving a history of my last 3 games on each platform. I wasn't saying consoles get no errors, certainly nowadays (NESs are still playable and Mega Drives work like the day they were made), nor was I saying those are the only problems you get with PC games. I don't want this thread to end up like this: [IMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v735/ozz

The reason for this is incredibly simple. I shall explain by giving you a brief summary of the last 3 games I have purchased for each platform: Xbox 360: Red Dead Redemption - Play. No errors. 2010 FIFA World Cup - Play. No errors. Left 4 Dead 2 - Play. No errors. PC: Killing Floor (steam) - Multiplayer (which is the crux of the game) unable to find servers. When I do find servers (once), loading tim
Modem or router? They are very different breeds. The modem converts the cable of ADSL signal you receive into something your computer can use. In NA, the modem is supplied with the broadband service. Routers, on the other hand, serve as a middle-man between the modem and multiple computers. I'm sorry if this is covering what you already know, but your use of the term modem is confusing me a little.
I'm not sure how to explain.

My Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware found it, is this something I'll have to cancel my bank card and/or change my passwords over? There seems to be no specific info about what it does on Google (like a while ago when I had Trojan.Banker and Google told me it got bank details, so I got myself a new bank card).
Well, the game probably needs 1GB of RAM to run well. You have 1GB total, but not all of that is going to be used on a game since your OS uses some etc. 1GB of RAM is completely pathetic and you really shouldnt plan on playing any remotely modern game with that amount no matter what the box says. Its just not an acceptable amount of RAM for PC gaming. You really should upgrade that since RAM is cheap - no need to

Ugh, I absolutely DETEST when a developer lies about a game's spec requirements. Well, I don't know what the official definitions of 'minimum requirements' and 'recommended requirements' are, but I assumed mininmum was 'the least you need to play the game, but expect plenty of lag, so what's the point?' and recommended was 'your game will mostly run smoothly'. But no. My computer has a 2.8 Ghz dual core processor (don't know if Killing Floor takes advantage of dual core) and 1GB of RA

Everyone give a s low clap to the law/policy that states when we buy a game, we don't actually own it. We own the right to play it, which means the developers can restrict those who paid£30+ for it to one install or whatever else they want. Especially odd because piracy will never be stopped, so many security mesaures inhibit or even deny the paying, law-abiding types. Football Manager had the right idea by using a trick where all pirated games had the teams t

I saw a game on YouTube aaaages ago, and it was likely Steam. It was a multiplayer shooter, think it was first-person, if not third-person. You're in a cross-section hallway with a bunch of other SWAT/marine types and you just shoot back waves of zombies. Any idea? >_>

Certainly doesn't seem to be psoriasis, although I think my mum has that, as it's not scaly and isn't anywhere else. Don't really think eczema either. Cold exasperates eczema rash, doesn't it? With my rash, cold soothes it. Also, my mum gave me a cream and that worked. Had no bleeding or ickyness either. Only closest thing are those raised, but painless, bumps which can appear when scratching, but no cracking or scaly scabs or anything like that. Before, on the ver

Of course, I've arranged an appointment with my doctor. Right now I've had an itchy red rash on the top of my hands for quite a few days now. It's not 24/7, but at some points in the day it'll get itchy. But it's only over a certain specific area on the top of my right hand (from the bottom of my thumb to the bottom of the next finger) and the tops of the middle sections of my middle and index finger on my left hand. Also, the rash goes skin-coloured when I stretch it and such
