Haha it appears, being the only guy on the internets to actually ask this question, this is getting Google etc. hits and is top of the pile. If only I made this earlier, I could've searched myself and not come up with answers about the outsides... wait... no, that makes sense. Well it's dry now. I came back a few hours later and it seemed to have less droplets (despite no change for the past 24 hours). Then I put it next to the radiator and half an hour later it was dry, albiet smudged and dirtyish. >_> I don't know where I'd get silica gel from anyway.

I got a freebie telescope, probably cheap and not great. It had been in the rain, so the inside of the eyepiece has droplets of water obscuring the view. Evidently, it hasn't dried after 24 hours.
