I think that would work, but then again if they serve no purpose then there will be little point in having them, while I agree that they shouldn't be faction controlled, maybe more places or a place that marauders come from?

personally I like this in a game, the game should have more not less, ok it might not be for everyone, but I think the way that sins is working right now is a bit too simple
I think you have to realise that there are three races and each will have strengths and weaknesses, if you add this, you will make all three ships the same, unless you have to make one really super powerful over the other two, personally I don't think such a ship is really needed
damn that is one heck of a impressive changelog, nice also that planets will now revolt, that going to spice up gameplay, as well as all the other changes and fixes, impressive work, impressive indeed, well done to the devs. I take my hat off to you all
that is true, I also want to have them as well, after looking at the recent new pics, more so then ever,
then again it really determines jow well they currentyl fair against the other two races, yes they seem a bit more advance, but there is no point sticking auto cannons on them if they become too weak, there are meant to be middle of the road class ships
no need to keep posting the same thing, otherwise that is classed as spam,
yeah, the TEC is gonna get there *** kicked for sure yup. then again the advent could win against both if they use their special abilities, but who knows, that is looking to be an interesting game, my hope is that all three races remain very different b
tried the demo, wasn't impressed, not keen on games that only use one resource for everything, and this uses it for everything, so Im not getting the full game at all
damn that ship on the first pic looks awesome, and very powerful, can't wait to try it out sometime
not seen that either, I will keep an eye out for it
I wondered what happened to the names, as for the end game idea if you read post chat idea, I did say make a 50/50 chance of happening, so that it won't happen in every game, and this should be an option to disable / enable the threat anyway, so that at least keeps the game interesting, as you won't know if the threat will be present in you game or not,
one way is, terran planets could allow you to tax the population more then ice and dessert. but if you manage to build a broadcast centre near them, and increase the culture level, you could tax them a bit more but still not as high as a terran planet, thus to simulate the harsher conditions of the other world types, you could tax them the same but revolts could have a chance of accurring,
this will probably will be coming out for the Xbox360 and so will be watered down, to me this is will nothing more then a oblivion with guns, they ruined oblivion, got a really bad feeling they will ruin this game just as much
"some" time is an understatement, still if the speed from star to star is sped up, thenj that would make that sized game a lot more, of course there are still phase gates to be added, so there is a lot of room for improvement
open revolts chance of the planet belonging to a neutral player when is the last time a group of people revolted due to unweildy taxing? never, poland has something around a 90% tax rate and its people sit around and do no complaining WHATSOEVER (even though I believe they should) and besides, people on fringe planets ALREADY decide to not pay 85% of their taxes, what are you going to do about it? <
No probs, I was just hoping for someone to link to me to what's envisioned in the finished game. I see a lot of suggestion threads about gameplay elements that I'd like to comment on, but I have no idea what's going to be in it in the end so don't bother. if there are stuff you want to comment on then go ahead, the devs do read these forums, even if not every idea is going to get into the game, but good suggesti
I really do feel it will add a lot of depth, open revolts chance of the planet belonging to a neutral player, I think this will add a lot of depth, and interest, yes it will mean micro managing but there are players that like that, and would like this kind of depth to a game
hi and welcome, more feedback is more the merrier, Im a beta tester, signed up near the beginning of the beat 2 phase, missed out on 1, but this game does play very well, but Im sure it will change and mature over the course of the months ahead, and this is completely different to MoO 2 as that is turn based, never been a big fan of turn based games, always preferred real time, and this is looking to be a great real time game
TristanGoodes I think is a SD rep His an Ironclad Artist whoops didn't know, thanks for correcting me
TristanGoodes I think is a SD rep, he encouraged these ideas to be posted on this forum, which is what I did, I was talking to P5y, and a lot of this is his ideas, (not sure what has happened to the names beside each line?
yeah it can be a bit annoying to keep getting enemy approaching messages and to found out its a scout, maybe you could adjust the level of the messages and the frequency of them appearing / heard?
found a bug, not too sure if anyone has posted it, with so many threads and forums and no real bug tracker Im unsure if this has been reported or not, I used a green icon pyramid with a bar across, another AI used the same icon but blue, when I found his planets, his icons were the same colour as mine, what is more the planet info was saying that the planet was -1 from my my home planet, I know the -1 is a known issue but it wasn't my planet, but I was unable to do anything with the planet, (wh
I can't give my ships movement orders in a Stars gravity well, it will always try to jump out of the sector instead, which is annoying when trying to defend against marauders. Anyone else get this? that's a known issue, and hopefully will be fixed soon
I have read or heard that the pirates will have a base in the final game, do like your shield idea, certainly sounds interesting
