Well it isn't easier to beat it after they fixed the AI-building bug in a patch. Not sure how it cheats tho. The programmer is not keen on disclosing any information lol. He did say somewhere on the forum that it gets "a little help" - whatever that means. - But apparently its supposed to play by the same rules as human players. Thats all I heard.
Haven't seen much kung-fu in lost empire lol - a new patch came out yesterday for it, it made the AI even harder to fight, cause now it actually always have weapons equipped on its fleets, lol.

They just made a patch - its 1.03 now and they fixed this AI bug where the AI sometimes build ships with no weapons on. Hmm I am wondering when there'll be some reviews of lost empire. I am playing it and its great - one of my favorite 4x-games during the past few years, but it would be nice to see what the game reviewers would say about it.

Hmm I don't know what will happen to the TBS-genre in the future - look at a game such as sins of a solar empire - it seems like there is a tendency to moving the TBS-games towards semi-RTS like games, which is kinda weird, cause the low-stress strategic thinking you can do in a TBS-game is something lots of players like I think. I'm looking for any word of mouth on the game - I have been playing it myself the last 4 days and I really like it - is there anyone else here who has played it? How do you like it? lol - Im scanning all forums on google to see what people say about the game cause there has been so little information on it and no reviews yet - so I wanted to discuss the game with someone - thats how I found this forum - dunno about the guy above though, he seems to know a vastly more on the game than I do, lol.
OK, I played the game some more now - and I must say that I really like it. Have played it for like 16-20 hours now and I have tried 3 of the 7 playable races so far - and are really lots of differences to how one can play them plus how one can play one race because of the way the science tree works. That is really nice. What Im really looking forward to though is the Chi Lung-race. Its sort of a dragon race which actually eats the population of the planets they own - so that means they have to
TBS: Lost Empire - a really great 4X space strategy game that everyone who ever played Space Empires 4, MoO2, and Galciv2 will love! Yup - I'm playing Lost Empire - bought it over Gamer's Gate and so far I really like it! Its a bit of a mix of the tech tree from SE4 and the UI from galciv2 - and the races are utterly grotesque like in the old MoO2. The UI could do with some work tho, but the game has a really nice atmosphere - and a scary AI, and a huuuge complicated tech tree if youre into that sort of thing. Hmmm I found this new 4x game called Lost Empire on strategy firsts site which is coming out tomorrow apparently. It looks neat, like a mixture between MoO2 and the SE-games, but with more story in it. Can't figure out where the weight is though - on tactical combat or on empire building. Any of you guys know anything of this game? I only know whats on the Web Site .
