Ok, it DOES work. Stardock if you want my 9.99 (which would be lame) then let me know and I will gladly pay it because you guys are great to your customers and I don't want to screw you or do anything illegal. Keep in mind I have two seperate keys for the original game (because I got boxed+digital download)

I am trying to install it now, I don't want to do anything illegal, but Stardock has not been greedy in the past (by allowing multiplayer), I just hope that is the case here. They are one of the more generous companies so all I can do is try and hope.

I originally bought the Boxed+Digital Download of the original game. This allowed me to play multiplayer with my two PCs I own. I just purchased a copy of entrenchment on my digital download. My question is, can this copy also be used for my boxed copy, or do I have to purchase a seperate copy of Entrenchment? If so ('lame scenario'), how do I do this and link it in with the original SINS?

For having the balls to make a defense heavy expansion pack. I love the idea that turtling can be balanced and so few developers have the courage to attempt this daunting task. Again you have shown me why you are the company to beat for PC games (Blizzard, you better watch out, because Stardock is serving the customer better, IMO). Here here, for the Brave New World that Stardock has ushered in. Have fun everyone.
Quick diplomacy fix: make everyone start as neutral instead of shoot on sight. This would make the current diplomacy system useable atleast. You would have to declare war before your ships start shooting others down.Be sure the AI doesn't exploit it too.
Well, all they need to do to fix this is have "Cease Fire" 'On' for everyone by default. This would allow anyone to break the cease fire who wanted to, while avoiding those accidental shootings we all have come to know an

Is there a mod that allows for open jumping, as in, jumping to any planet from any planet, or any variant thereof. Thanks, Goat

This game is awesome, and IGN , PC Gamer, AND Gamespot will surely give it good reviews. I myself could care less about a campaign mode, as usually it is just a mode with custscenes and stripped control which is slowly given back to the player. Campaign is a lot of work for not much payoff imo. Congratulations on 90% from Gamespy. I signed up for the beta in the summer and I could tell then that this game was going to be great. Glad it is getting the recognition it deser

Agree 100 percent, adjustable scroll definitely and possibly dragging scroll option, but I think at the very least you have to have the ability to speed up scrolling when the mouse is placed at the edge of the screen.

A "Delete Post" button would be nice. you are being hypocritical

I mean it disappears completely off of "my posts" which is strange, maybe i didn't hit post or something.

I have noticed that some of my posts seem to be missing. Is there a post time limit (1 message per couple of minutes) with no warning, or is a mod getting trigger happy or something? What is going on? Does anyone else notice this phenomenon?

If Pete wants this game simplified then he's a f$%^%^g idiot. Now more options (think sliders) to manage how indepth it is, so people who want an easier or shorter game can have it while also allowing people who want depth to have it would be perfect. Though given the amazing pita that would be I doubt we will see it and I can understand.

Why not have colonization take longer. It starts with a really low population and people must breed and it gets exponential until it reaches full growth. This would allow easy bombardment of the colonies in the initial growth period. I mean the colonies get going pretty fast. You could also prevent colonization if there are enemy ships in the gravity well.

Goatman, how can you pass judgement on something you havent tried? trust me, WAM defence isnt fun. Firstly, I am only advocating an option for open jumping. Secondly, I am judging myself, and therefore while my judgment is not perfect I am best at judging myself. Besides think of the gray area you are talking about here. How do you know you still hate your least favorite food, when was the l

Some of you are probably pondering the beta purchase due to the fact you have to buy the game now, from here, and for the full price, even though you are only getting a beta. I too was worried that I was being stupid by plunking down 50 bucks for a beta, even though I was really interested in the concept. That in mind I decided to do it, and I do not regret the decision. Despite it being a bit steep to have to pay 50 bucks for a beta I have to cite three reasons it is definitely worth it. <b

I am going to guess that is Vistas fault, I have way less than you and my game runs amazingly. 1280x960 Full Detail including 16x AF (No AA, I hate AA). I rarely notice a hitch. FX-51 2gb RAM, geforce AGP 7800oc 72gb(total) raptor RAID 0 array, my machine is no slouch but far from top of the line, yours on the other hand is an A- (maybe B+ if your standards are really high; liquid cooled, etc.) gaming machine, near top of the line, you by all standards SHOULD have way better performance. "no... we came to the conclusion that its perfect as is now." That is dangerous thinking in the beta phase, all I am suggesting is a have your cake and eat it to solution. I think the "it ruins the game play" argument is completely subjective as it would make the game play better for me. sry for double.
