Moons? can we get them in this new expansion, possibly a radius enhancer so they can fit near a planet!!!

I haven't heard any fix on the AI giving up to fast, there should be some kind of conquest mode or untill all units of the enemy have been destroyed.

Step 1 add missiles to a tech light class frigate as a template for an alternate race. Step 2 load the game, missiles fire perfect cannons fire perfect. Step 3 Save game. Step 4 Go to main menu load the save game. Step 5 The only weapons that fire are the tech cannon. It seems like some how it's reverting back to the original tech frigate some how on load. It's not like in the beta era either where you could just look at the save game file and
I used a template from a tech light frigate, as an example added missiles to it to test it out. During the first load of the game it works fine. After you save the game and quit to main menu and attempt to reload it the game converts it back to only use cannons like the original tech frigate. How can I prevent this?

I don't understand why game developers keep makeing games with higher requirements in graphics, in a depressed economy. Crysis can be played on an Nvidia 8600 gts no huge requirments and still look good. Company of hero's is another high quality game with low hardware requirments as was atari's act of war or Call of Duty 4. All great games and there wasn't any hardware change to play the game. I think it has issues with 3ds 2009 i exported the model but the game crashes while trying to load it. I was able to get the model into the game using soft image but I don't know how to keep the dumby objects during export from 3dsm. So the ship wasn't able to fire and carrier aircraft appeared two galaxy's away.
Someone mentioned that you can edit the mesh models in a txt viewer i opened the models from GalaxyForge_v103 in a txt viewer and there still encoded. I'm sure by now this has come up just don't know where?
A weapons outfitting screen would be nice somthing similar to Nexus the jupiter incident. Weapons on the planet such as missile or laser options to target ships from the planet. A better way to show life exsist on a planet rather then the roach motels. Weather effects on the planet and space. Planet destroying super weapons with huge cost of course but it still needs to be an option. A ship crew for capital ships which would help determine the strength
Does anyone not feel that a better tradeing and treaty interface would make this game alot more fun? Somthing similar to Galactic Civilization?
No one has mentioned anything about tradeing; that is one of the most primary things this game is missing. Why can't we trade ships to our allies or neutral party's for money or metals or crystal? etc etc. Same thing goes for planets. The other thing is Enemies are constantly telling us what they want or they will destroy us how come we can't do the same thing to them. I want to tell them things like; I want planet X and 50000 crystal or I'm going to turn your race int
Those fixes are nice especially the info card problem. There's a couple issues i think are more pressing though. 1.) Removing the limitations on how many variances of ships you have for capital ships and frigates etc. 2.) A sperate section for Neutral Colonies and a possible way to allie with them. 3.) A New option screen that would allow you to trade ships and planets with allies. 4.) An option to stop the enemy from quiting the game. 5.) A command code for area effects
Lol I have a better question, how long does it take you to get back to your desktop after exiting the game? Without hitting Ctrl alt Del or haveing to restart.
I figured it out, so far I haven't found a way to say put a particular race on a Volcano planet but. I can change the Default planet for everyone so that it will be random or I could say make everyone have a city planet. I do this by editing the Galaxy file for my universe map. The editor some how was damageing mine. I'm using sins plus and Randomizing the planets for me has added a little more fun to the game for me. I hope this helps!!
That's the first thing I tried, when I did that what happened to me is the game says that everyone has been defeated. Sorry I didn't reply sooner this forum has been giving me trouble it's very hard to browse at times.
When game starts you are placed on a Terran planet by default, nothing random just always a terran planet. Well i'd like to change my default planet. How would one do this?
I have heard alot of people speaking about cloaking for ships, but i'm not sure if it's in the game or not. Some were saying that Vassari already had some kind of cloaking ability. If you have any pictures or forums that discuss it please post it here. Thanks
