Lol they acutually helped me out but by that time the moron had a brain spike and remembered the password. But still I think Ironclad could add a password recovery system it would make sense.

I know during the beta testing I was able to mod in 9 custom battle ships. But the retail version doesn't allow it that's a big let down. Another thing is with carriers you may want to add more then the two default choices of fighter/bomber. Haven't seen any resolution to this, not even Stardock has posted a reply to the previous posters. I do not think there should be any limits on things like this it makes people not want to mod for the game and that would be a waste

Thanks, I don't know why my nephew is such a retard. I hope Stardock sees this and makes a forgot password and User name option. It would make life alot easier, I can't be the only one with a moron for a nephew.

I have this moron nephew, and let's say I bought him Sins and gave him a cdkey to register. Well this moron nephew creates some stupid user name he can't remember. How would this moron nephew of mine retrive his user name and password?

That news ironclad released was pretty damn lame. I thought they were going to announce somthing like they were takeing over Galactic Civilization. Or they were going to release a new expansion to Sins or maybe add a campaign to it. Personally I would of like to see them create a new engine around Galactic Civilzation. Heres somthing they could also do make a program that would configure your router for there games. That would be a highlight for the game industry.

You know I said that they were takeing there sweet time putting this mod package together because; they were trying to put a bow on it and a sports braw to make it cute and appealing to nooblets. I have to say victoria secret has a competitor now, "I like" this is the sexiest braw i've ever seen :CONGRAT: . Thank's Mr or Miss Blair.
Jeez, I would think that people could wait a few days for the mod tools. It isnt like its the end of the world. Just enjoy Sins, play other games, work on your mod idea. The tools will get here when they get here. There isnt anything you can do to make them hurry up.
Shadow__Warrior you know what a contract is? Those of us who participated in the beta for a good 6 or 8 months were told that when you pre-order the game you'd be getting the full game on the release date.<b

You know the reality of it all is there still trying to put a pink bow and a sports braw on the modding tools. Just give us an exe file to decompress and recompress it's usually a 33kb file. Or if that's to difficult place a zip file with all the files in the gameinfo folder uncompressed on the downloads section. Because at this point theres really no need for a modding community because you can't mod. I downloaded 1.02 but right now i'm confused to why. I guess I wil
It's not about download size, it's about how long it takes to load stuff *in the game*. Binary is significantly faster than text in that respect.
I never had any problem loading the game, it loads faster then any other game I have and I have a ton of them.
i'm with you, was hoping to see the tools available when i got home from work today. I already have a few things i'd like to do but need the tools to access the files that are binary. Luckily i have pati
... You do realize the reason they did this was to decrease load times, right? Nothing "wrong"... but once they upload the mod tools, no big deal anyway. Go spend a day or two playing the game before you throw a fit over not having the mod tools -- you should know what it is your modding before you try to mod it, anyway!
I've been in the Beta program since July i've played the game for more then a day or two ;p . In addition I know exactly what i wanna mod i

Why must every developer kill everything that works. There wasn't anything wrong with using notepad to modify the files. This is pretty sad I'm now bored with this game.

Yes because most of the other planets show up fine, it may be the problem kyro spoke of but i've seen planets that aren't overlapping doing the same thing.

Thanks Vandenburg. Gauntlet03:
is it possible to edit a ship's individual phase speed... that would be interesting for a mod... or at least a race's overall phase speed.
I was kind of hopeing for the same thing maybe i can figure out how to seperate the two.

No this isn't another star system overlapping another it's just random planets makeing units show up invisible. Like in a haze and the icons that make your unit selectable is not present. Basically it's like your ships are cloaked and not even you can see them.
