Try achieving it first, that might help. if it doesn't than you won't have to download it again.

Pfff, that doesn't really 'relate' to 90% of them :/
Actually, 1gig is pretty big for sins. Textures aren't especially large, there aren't too many models, and levels aren't complex.
Oh great, I bet we have to pay the ticket booth for that ride
Recently stumbled onto this crazy program; [link="http://www.crazybump.com/"]WWW Link[/link] and I love it. Basically, you feed it a texture, and it will create Normal, Displacement, Occlusion, Specularity, and Diffuse. And it's extremely easy to do; it even includes a simple model with your texture included on it. While sins uses only bump and spec (?? Correct me, I'm wrong) this makes it pretty fun to do so. You can even load custom models into the model previewer. I really,
I'm interested in seeing when people pre-ordered Sins, for me it was back in Beta2 (missed beta 1 by a week) Anyone else?
I think so, unless PLE heavily restricts what the file can be exported as. I'm not sure what the tools use to convert, either .3dx or .obj If it's obj, than you should be good. if it's 3dx, than you'll need 3dmax.
Hmm, I'm just guessing on that one actually :/
- Must planets be in the middle of the Gravity wells? Can we, for example, anchor them to be at the very top or bottom point of the well? Yes, however I think off-setting the actual model of the planet (done with an editor, such as 3dmax or maya) might give you the same results. - Must gravity wells be spherical in shape? Can modding change them to cubes or cylinders? I'm pretty sure you can't change the shape, since this appears to be hard coded. - I k
He still hasn't blown his nose :/ EDIT: Seriously, does he have a cold or something?
That guy needs to blow his nose.
lol whats the big deal... who the hell uses the chat anyway? ever heard of TS? or vent? i think its good chat is disabled when u are dead.. played alot of TA:SPRING and ppl who lose just cant shut the %$#& up , so they get kicked anyway...
Obviously, alot of people do. In fact, some people have other things to spend their money and time with rather than computer parts, unlike you. Also, you seem li
It would probably last alot longer, much much longer; but it wouldn't take a week in most cases. Realistically, the players with the most patience will be the winners in those maps; along with the most freetime. Technically, this game can last forever since there are no fully deletable resources.
Right now, there are game fans going crazy over being able to pilot ships in space while in medieval times.
It's a known bug. That is addressed very often. It's caused by mainly random maps. Period.
No, I meant archieving you smart ass.
Finally; got it installed. Achieving it first allows you to install it for some odd reason.
I still have this problem after switching to us-2 (and refreshing list) along with restarting computer. I looked for un-deleted registries for Sins; but couldn't find any. Any other recommendations? As much fun as it is to see it go from 100 back to 0, I'd rather play the game. EDIT: Hmm, upon looking further I found some .dmp files that belong it sins; Once the search finishes I'll see if that solved the problem. EDIT2: No effect.
I played it, and it was a bit too easy. Graphics were nice, and it's a big change from nubucalar drop, but they're almost the same puzzles.
Pfff, what is stopping him for doing 'favors' to other game companies like he did to this one?
I laughed out loud at the topic title. You made it sound like they're a cult or something.
For a mod, people might be able to create very 3-d battles. Fighters love moving around while attacking. Translated: If you could make normal ships be treated as "fighters" than they would move around. Biggest setback is sins probably does not support too-many ships doing this.
Wow, a rival to our Prostitute Deals Clan. Damnit
Well, if you have the money you can still play in the beta. If you use stardock tokens to pre-order instead of using money, than you'll still be able to download the beta (instantly after making order with tokens)
