Alright thanks, and how did I so badly misspell "anywhere"?
Ultimitx
I pre-ordered SoaSE and I was just wondering what the time frame was until I recieved the retail box. I can't find anything reguarding this anyware... Thanks.
It is most likely you sound drivers or even your sound card all together(though less likely)... I have experienced similar anomolies in the sound of games on a previous computer, updated drivers, and all is good. Dell usually has good customer support so give them a call and see if they can help you out.
Thanks psugar! The music is by far some of the best I have ever heard in relation to a game, it fits the feel of Sins perfectly and adds a great touch to the game!
I remember having to wait 224 days for the final release to come out... All I have done so far is watch the cinematic and listen to the awesome music at the main menu (is it just me or is it a bit "richer" then the beta music???) and it is flipping amazing! It almost seems unreal for me to accualy be able to play a game now:P
Yeah, I am just throwing idea out there atm to try and get researching up to the level it should be. Right now it seems researching does not play as dynamic a role as it should. I was basing the sliders on GalCiv2, while that is a turn based and not RT4X, it did offer amazing gameplay options and playback ability even though you could only change 6 different areas. I posted alot about this idea way back before beta 2 started and no one really seemed to take it into considerati
I think that there should be a slider for researching time. Right now it seems that as long as you have the resources you can research anything in any order and it will not affect the outcome of the game. I enjoy trying to outthink my opponet by researching the righ things at the right times. If everything only take 3 mins to research what is the point? If there is a "slider" the multiplayer games can be kept at the same speed, or even sped up like people are asking for. <
Why would you post this on a forum, I mean, its like saying "Look, I'm retarded, throw stuff at me".
Throws stuff at Malice a Forethought. Hope he doesn't sue me...
Alright, thanks guys. I'll give it a shot and see what happens.
Yes I do. Everything else has worked fine; both Beta 2 and Beta 3. Ill just stop downloading for now and try again in a few hours.
Alright, so at about 2 this afternoon I started downloading Beta 4. It has since completed to 100% at least 4 times. It seems to be on an neverending loop of downloading itself and does not stop (thus neverending:P). I looked to see if it has downloaded anywhere and I can not find it... Help please, I want to play the VASARI!!!
You forgot the best stategy game out there that will be coming out with a new stand alone expansion!!! CoH: Opposing Fronts. British Commandoes all the way!
Take a grain of sand and hold it up to the night sky. This is the area that the Hubble has photographed for one entire week. In those pictures you can make out millions upon millions of galaxys/stars/planets. That is one grain of sand! And that is also only as far as light has currently traveled far enough for us to see from earth. The possibilities are endless. Also, in 1898 some famous scientist said that everything that could be invented had been invented
That is wierd... You can pause the game by hiting the pause/break key at the top of your keyboard.
Driving is awesome, just don't forget the clutch like...uh...someone I know did... That would not be good at all:) Personaly I think that 360's, PS3's are overrated. The PC has i
I second that, it would save alot of time...
Never knew this post would generate so many replies:)
At the main menu when you put your mouse over "Ironclad Online" the period at the end of the sentence is all by itself on the next line down.
Everyone with the Ironclad symbol like Craig works for Ironclad:) When is the next release going to be out?
Thanks Yarlen for clarifying that for me, I hope random events will find their way into the game. I didn't want to argue with you SchematicNinja and I apologize if it seems to you that I did. I could not find anywhere what the devs had in mind with galactic/random events and now I know what the devs have in mind.
Again, you are not developing the game. You are speaking in figurative terms, anything can be tried. Anways, enough arguing. Erm maybe Im just going of on a tangent , but could random events include stars going super nova and things like this? , I mean wouldnt that be the coolest thing youve ever seen in a 4x type of game? and in considering your comments , what about sumits and all nations must send a scolar or diplomat? I think that would b
They don't need to be the "soul" of the game, just enough to add some fun to it, to break up the monotomy. the thing with optional is that the Devs are bound to balance the game for them (and thats impossible with this scale of events) Are you a dev? How can you say it is impossible? People need to stop speaking for the devs, let them tell us what they can and can not do!
Just a point of clarifacation, but are you saying you want the game to be all laid out to you without any risk of losing? Doesn't that take out the fun? The chaos that would impend would be drastic, yes, but it would cause the player to totaly rethink his strategy, make him/her work to win the game. I'm not meaning to critize you, everyone has the right to their own opinion. To make you happy it could be an option:)
I think that a great thing to incorporate into Sins would be that of random events happening throughout the galaxy. Things like 'x' number of planets rebel and join pirates, 'x' civilization is experiencing a great economic period and revenue is increase 50% for them, or space experiences a warp around 'x' star system drastically rearranging phase lanes. I don't think these ideas would be that hard to implement, even the last one because there is already a random "seed" for a map when
Great ideas! One thing that I would really like to see improve is the diplomacy side of the game, but I have a feeling it will be before release.
