Wrong, even if that was right, the date on impulse, it wouldn't be logically possibe. If they released the beta even today...they wouldn't have enough time. I'd expect it Q1 2009 thought...if not, then, I'm stumped.

I can get on fine and all...but once in game, when I click on a button, there is alike second delay before 'x' is built. Also, I noticed that it starts out very fast. Meaning that everything is sped up faster than the highest setting for some reason. I'm not complaining about the speed thing but I wish there was a faster setting... Thanks Phalnax

Oh wow, I butchered my last reply...terrible grammar. I actually find the races varied enough for my taste Pr0phecy. In my opinion, TEC is all about eco and building a grand ole fleet from their eco. Advent are a powerhouse with not-so-good eco. The Vasari are a mix of both with a little sneaky sneaky added into the mix. I think they are varied enough but Starbases will make the game much more interesting and prettier... Phalnax

Yeah, I've fallen in love with the Vasari in 1.1. I like them for the same reasons as above. I would say TEC and Advent tie for 2nd place.

I think we all would like that...but let's not get too greedy now...Craig can put us all on the naughty list and decide to release it afterwards... Take your time... Wow, samurye....that's a bit sad, no offense... Advent, i'm not the best but for Advent, i'd form chokepoints and be agressive and take territory :D
