I agree, at the moment culture is far too powerful. It takes practically forever for those lines to disappear. I also want to add that, I don't get the reason behind culture on a dead planet. My brand new colonists after colonizing a planet, immediately switch to my opponents side. Why? Culture? I just bombed that planet to oblivion and back, there are ZERO survivors. What kind of culture is left to cause a whole colonization to rebel the moment they set foot on the planet?

So far we have Gauss guns to deal with ships close range, and hangars which launch fighters. How about more turrets? Maybe cheap, low damage low range flak turrets to deal with masses of fighters, missile launcher turrets to replace gauss guns, and gauss guns themselves being what they're supposed to be, high damage, long range cannons with take a while to reload. Maybe also increase the power and cost of turrets, but decrease the max amount that you can have. This way the whole planet is cover
The Kol is supposed to be TEC's flagship. A flagship is supposed to be big, mean, and made of god, win, and awesome combined. The appearance of a flagship should tell everyone, "We are TEC! Don't screw with us!" The appearance of the Kol gets a big "meh" from me. It's smaller than the rest of the cap ships, it's guns are 4 little satellites, and generally looks rather uninspired, compared to some other ships. I didn't bother to read the whole thread, but here are my thoughts on cruisers. I love the fact that they're supposed to be more on the support side than attack, but please, give them just a little boost. Personally I find the carriers are bit.. useless. I mean, a whole ship, just to accommodate FIVE measly aircrafts, and thats it? Come on..
