Hi everyone, my friends and I have picked up SINs recently and both myself and my two mates, (2x TEC, 1 X Ves) are getting completly and totally messed up by our forth mate who plays as Advent. Pretty much he spams Guardians and we can't touch his fleet. We ignore the guardians, we can't kill the other support ships quickly enough, we kill the Guardians it take so long the support base is wipped out during the jobs. Any assistance appreciated.

Good post Daishzen, I agree with your points both commending fleets as an implementation and the ideas of immprovement. Fleets have really grown on me in recent days and i'm finding them more versitile than the old standard group system. As for the group fleet association, perhaps there can be a seperate keybinding section that allows for the player to associate / release groups 1 - 5 (example) with fleets and leave 6 - 9 (example) for normal number groups. Cheers Foogsert, I'll check that out tonight. I was not aware of "fleet-click" to create these auto fleets. Can you share a little knowledge on creating them and managing them? Many thanks, Wilko

Thanks Mattsw104 for letting me know I'm not alone with this issue. I've had a lot of difficulty adjusting to the retail version, ships not auto joining fleets that they are set to rally to. Lack of visibility of fleet config and the ability to easily attack and detach ships while visibly seeing it occure threw a group management type interface. Is there any word on a refinement of the retail release fleet management in the upcoming patch?

I have been part of the last 2 betas, pree ordering the game long ago. I have been paying, contributing to the beta via bug reports and enjoying myself a lot. I fired up sing retail for the first time last night and immediately started feeling my way threw the changes. One change I can not get my head around is the removal of the group number from the top right vertical section. I used to micro manage my fleet compositions, repair, individual ship pullout via watching the expanded view

I got the mail on the 1st of August - Australian time. Did a quick check and saw it was 10ish US on the 31st and signed up. Not sure if I made it though I have only got the thank you for buying the game messages. My first impressions are that the game looks great, my only issue sofar is a lack of ability to select a face point when moving my ships. ie. Right click to move the troops to a system edge for jumping but hold down right click and rotate the mouse changing the end direction th
