Thier is no way to "graduly" remove the Radiation buff (from Novalith) It is an on or Off thing. So it must be removed immediatly. BUT! your ability could remove the buff, but the planet has a seiries of negitive effects that generaly disspeer over time. You can't build planets.

Generates resources or provides a BOOST in resources? Generate resources is easy, I don't know if thier is a Boost resources modifier.
Easy On the frigate, just use "Apply Buff To target" Where the buff is Buff one. Now, creating an ability to provide a boost to crystal is a bit difficult. I would sugest to make a series of crystal mines around the Gas Giant. Give them the normal Nuetral Extractor ability, but with the modification that the mines are NOT capturable. (So a normal scout/colonizer can't capture them) Then, Buff Two (as stated in my above post) would
Well....I know that the Gas planet does damage. It MAY be possible to add a hardpoint and travel... The code is VERY simple You start out with a Buff on the inteanded target. this can be ANY buff. I can't make it ONLY target certain planets But, (as a consilation prize) I do know how to make a Buff version of an "AND" logic gate. Sot that although you can target any planet, it only WORKS on the planet you specify. However, my method will also require a passive ability on the planets in question. (minor point)
Perhaps that they feel that Sins, though great, has too many problems, and they want to start fresh. Choas theory in effect. The ballance is my primary example. It has been changed so much, perhaps they feel that thier is no way to right the wrongs. I don't think this will work. As a "mirror" effect, and a "See Through" effect are COMPLETLY differnt. I have a feeling that a mirror effect will just make a shiny ship. Howver, if ANYONE knows how to make a mirror effect, if would PROBABLY be Fileosoft, not active on these forums, but if you find the 7DS forums, he is quite active there. Problem with cloaking a ship is not the cosmetic part, that is easy. (Really small mesh for one) Hard part is how to remove the icons. Becouse every ship has an icon that hovers over it in the game, which is easy to see.
I am having a wierd issue with my internet. I just moved from home to college, where the internet is AWSOME!! It is SO good, for the first time in my life, I can play an FPS over the internet! (I live in Idaho) However, I have always been able to play sins, however a little laggy. NOW it is VERY laggy. So what is the deal? I can play a lousy FPS but not sins??
no, hardcoded. You cannot have pizzas in the game. Pink Space Ponies: yes Waffles: yes Gnomes: ....not so sure.... Pizza: no JK But seriously, it is hardcoded to add anouther resource, you could just change one of the TOO pizza's.
Personaly, I am looking forward to the expansion. Not quite as much for the diplomacy features, but becouse they hinted that they might include some extra gaming modes! yes, it can be done with just XSI mod tool and Particle forge. Though....You may want Gimp to help with texturing, and Wings3D (becouse it is simpler than XSI mod tool). Both are free.

I have never done it, but the theory is simple. If you look on the pirate base, you can see a rotating pirate head. Now, imagine if that head was say....a cool turret. You'd have a rotating turret! (no garentees that it actully fires properly though) So, what you do is, make the ship in softimage XSI (model, UV, texture..ext) (Wings3D is good too) Leave OUT the part that you want to animate, model, UV and texture that part S
