My theory is they are taking each transaction and printing it off. Then they walk over to one of those old credit card machines, type the number in... Then they hear it dial into the credit card place. A few minutes later they get a response back, either: "Accepted" or "Please upgrade your credit machine". Then they walk over to their computer and manually type the e-mail, enter a new key and then send it. I estimate this takes about 6 min

Erm, where on stardock central do you d/l it from? I think I looked everywhere and can't find.
"guess towards mid-late day Eastern time."
Explain why they'll call it unrealistic? And I never proposed putting light speed barriers on communication. They have FTL travel so they might as well have ansibles (instantaneous FTL communicators.). Um, we were talking about a game based on David Weber's books there <img id="ImageResize_Image_6" onload="ImageResizer.createOn(this);" src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Tongue.gif
People aren't that stupid... show them a little cause and effect and they'll catch on. No, they'll whine about it being unrealistic and silly and not bother playing the game. Not to mention they'll be really ticked when they discover just how limiting "light speed" is for communications. You way overestimate most people. Id think if they were even interested in the game
For countering stealth there should be some kind of module you would have to build like the repair station that would take up a tactical slot and detect stealthed ships around a certain area.
Maybe you guys made a mistake with the spelling where you meant to say Tuesday instead of Thursday? It is a pretty common mistake, they both are similar words so it could still be released today.
I don't drink coffee for my teeth's sake, and so I don't become dependable on it. But my boss drinks coffee and his mug always manages to spill somewhere. He will leave it on his truck seat, then ask me to go pick up some materials in his truck leading me to sit down spilling the coffee all over the seat with me sitting in it. Make it so that if you drop it, or have it upside down it wont spill. If I did drink coffee I would also imagine to make it so it is kept warm.
I hope its soon, classes start next monday!
I like the idea of techs that would improve fleet AI.
Say I have a group of 20 kodiak cruisers selected, is there any way to have them all use the intercept ability at the same time? All I could do was select each one and click intercept. It seems that if you have a group of the same units selected and you hit their ability, it only uses it on one of the units. So any way to do this? If not then I suggest it be added in the future.
I was just wondering what the change was with the AI between easy medium and hard. What does the AI do different between the difficulty levels? Does it use cheating or is it just smarter or more aggressive?
I really liked the voice chatter in CoH, it was the best I'd heard in any strategy game. It really gave the feeling like you were in the battle whenever you heard your soldiers talking, it also gave you a sense of how the fights were going depending on what they said or their tone. Not sure if radio chatter for battles was ever brought up as a suggestion, but I would like to hear it in game. For instance if you were zoomed out overlooking a solar system and there was a battle going on,
Certain conditions can cause saved games to become corrupt. When you try to load them the the corruption will eventually get hit, cause an infinite loop, cause your computer to run out of memory and then fail to find certain key dll files and it won't even be able to dump. We've fixed this problem and it will be included in beta 3 which is coming shortly. I just played a game from new, and eventually
I get this problem too. It always happens during a fairly large fleet battle, and ends when the other guy phase jumps out. It usually crashes right before one of his capital ships begins to phase jump.
