Umm Storm You had to go and mention that didn't you Fighters don't launch in some storms... As for tactics I play Eve-Online (4 years) and have played space strategy games going back all the way to the GENIE PRE-BBS, PRE-Internet dialin network (Im showing my extreme age here) LOL

Heh a WHOLE 80 minutes long lol! Me and a friend just got done with a 6.5 hour game and it was AWESOME!!! I haven't had this much fun with a NON-MMO game since Galactic warzones in the BBS days. What was REALLY nice was we agreed to not SUPERCAPFLEETOMGWTFBBQ blob each other and use real tactics. Again it was awesome beyond belief! Keep up the GREAT work guys.

I agree with you 100% The pirates are perfectly fine... in fact I would like them a bit tougher. What is happening here is bad game tactical choices . People are in such a hurry to capitol rush that they spend next to no effort defending their assets. Just my opinion.

Sometimes when I am zoomed in close and try to scroll I get a huge Wave like skipping effect especially when scrolling right over a planet.

I am having NO Problems with the Pirates. I think its because before I build my OMGODHUGEFLEETPWNZERSALL I make Sure my defenses are at Full capacity with both rails and hangers. I Actually think the attacks keep me thinking and keeps the game from getting too cushy lol Just my opinion though.

Remember THIS IS A BETA so the delivery and other systems are probably Beta too If this was the FINAL then I would agree with you!

The game runs MUCH Smoother no more jerkiness. I am only playing the small game but it is running perfectly so far (fingers crossed) Now to get some huge fleet battles going and see how stable she is

Why does everyone want CAP ships to have the speed and Agility of Fighters or destroyers. Theya re the size of a small city . They ARE supposed to be dog slow. By speeding them up you give all the instandt gratification players another Tank rush Game! Leave the speed as it is if I had my way id Slow em down by 50% more and make users use other smaller ships or tactics and force them to think instead of Cap ship Speed Blob.. Just my 2@
