While I am not a game developer I think it just takes a quick look around to see everyone at least in the younger generations (ie. the new gaming customer) is connected all of the time these days. I find it hard to believe that the gaming customer who truly "doesn't have internet on their main gaming rig" isn't becoming such a rarity that one could assume the loss of those potential customers in sales pretty much inconsequential.
what the hell are you talking about? Where are you buying your tools. If you take a tool home and it doesn't work or isn't worth the money, you take it right back and get your money's back. Let's see how does this work with software... oh right. It doesn't. Maybe the people who haven't been able to play Settlers 7 in for weeks, that's right, weeks, might not have as much to complain about, probably still complain since you know pro
I own the first Just Cause, and while tons of fun for the first few hours.......I found (like I do with every other open-world destruction-fest-shooter) that I was mindlessley moving from mission to mission wondering what the hell the point of the missions even was. I say the above, keeping in mind I extensively played Just Cause, GTA, Mercs, Mercs 2, Far Cry 2 etc. In my books they all end the same for me........somewhere in the middle of the game I get bored enoug
[e digicons]:O[/e] It's the monk!!! How funny to see you here making the exact same thread [e digicons]XD[/e]
Yes it's me....hehe You'll find I've made a habit of hanging around gaming forums writing guides, and posting technical threads. Sometimes I don't even play the games. [e digicons]o_O[/e] </p
Yep.... I'm there. Although I haven't actually played much.... hehe
All of you before me are BANNED ( [e digicons]:banhammer:[/e] ) for not realizing a BAN must be accompanied by the actual "hammer". [e digicons]:P[/e]
First of all.......lmao at the karma report! You're a bastid P5yy you know that?!? [e digicons]:P[/e] Secondly, how long has it been since you've tried hosting on ICO and has anything in your network setup changed? (ie. new cable modem, new router, OS, security software etc.???) If you would rather, I'll make some time and we can hang out on my TS server and we can talk about your problems..... unfo
My objective here really is to make the game able to play Demigod so that my sons can play with me online. So turning it into a storage unit wouldn't work out there unfortunately. The gameport is still 6112, but I believe the ICO port is now 7000 instead of the old 6000
@Frogboy, 1. Forget upgrading the rest of the hardware and instead purchase a cheap RAID card from www.highpoint-tech.com (ie. RocketRAID 1640) 2. Purchase 4 1TB SATA hard drives 3. Install the RAID card and the four 1TB drives. 4. Configure the RAID array. I would suggest going with a RAID 5 array since it'll leave you with 3TB of total storage (RAID 5 takes a hit on WRITE performance as compared to other RAID-level
i guess I'm one of the "lucky ones" then.... I haven't had a single crash running Empire TW since release-day. weird.... [e digicons]

I personally (and every other PC in my home) have never had one single issue with any of the IE versions ever. Guess it's what people do with their browsers that might cause them to break..... As far as windows updates go.... Every PC in my home gets all windows updates forced down it's throat! Not that that's a bad thing though........aside from having to replace/upgrade hardware now and then none of the PC's in our home have had an

1.05 is no longer the latest version. You'll need to install IMPULSE (www.impulsedriven.com) in order to update your game to the latest version which in turn will let you play on ICO! thanks, the Monk

1. I got the entire thing via STEAM on release-night/day (March 4th) in just over 2 hrs. (needless to say I have a kickass internet connection! hehe) 2. The MP matchmaking (NAT-T etc.) works beautifully. 3. The load-times are BLAZING FAST (at least on my machine) 4. The campaign-map does "stutter" now and then, but that's no biggie 5. I'm finding the battles somewhat LESS satisfying
