It seems you can't have more than 2 textures per emitter in particles without getting an error....can anyone confirm or is there something else at play?

Game uses 2 cores I think, one for sound/music and one for everything else....in essence, one core...that might be why you see stuff on two cores instead of just one....

About the only thing I can think of that would make different spacing meaningful is LRM spam with cluster warheads, and that's a rare sight....

I have intel wifi on my laptop and had a similar issue...you have to get the W8.1 drivers (which for intel took a while to come out)....
Like pointed out in the OP, if I split up my fleet, they are really vulnerable due to lack of advent synergy. I'd have to take lots of causalties if I manouver a big enough fleet past those starbases. The rest can just be mopped up by his defending fleet. It also takes a lot of time to split, send and regroup. Time he uses to fortify even further.
I'm going to reiterate what I said earlier....iconus guardians with r
Yes, I know - but how do you get your fleet past that sb ? OP is about BRB which can block a phaselane completely. Did you even read the post ?
I did read the post, and there is nothing stated anywhere in it about blocking phase lanes... Perhaps you are specifically referring to the fact that 2 SBs with RB can potentially cover all the space your ships might jump into...if that's the case, then you simply have t

Best thing you can do for your economy is expand as fast as possible...on large maps, always lead with a colony capital ship (akkan, progenitor, jarrasul) and try to expand in two directions: one direction with the colony cap (and a few scouts) and another direction with a normal colony ship, a few light frigates (cobalts, disciples, skirmishers) and several scouts... The scout ships actually are highly effective at killing the krosov siege frigates around the planet (though you will

Does your mouse wheel depress as a button in addition to scrolling? I was able to make my mouse wheel (as a button) a hotkey and it worked fine.... There are mouses with buttons on the left side (I've seen some with up to 3), if you had one of those it might work as well...

Pause is a hotkey that can be set....from the main menu, click on options, then key bindings...in the third section called "Globals", there is "Toggle Paused"...select it, click "Add" in the top right, then click the mouse button you want to use...
Dual kols are fun too. But again, dual builds are not to be used against opponents of higher skill
I think the only doable dual build is double sovas...if you focus on using missile batteries (no embargo till higher levels), your overall DPS will be competitive against the typical 1 cap + LFs start...the biggest problem with this is that your opponent can easily run their fleet and make your missile batteries useless...yo

Prog is hands down best lead for Advent, not Halcyon... You should have enough disciples to handle a super early SB rush regardless of what cap you pick, and if you don't, then your cap choice is probably irrelevant....the Halcyon has higher damage output but the Prog has shield regen which is far more valuable in keeping your disciples alive....additionally, the extra planet bombing damage and ability to colonize makes the prog more valuable in preventing the enemy egg from takin
I do not know Civ IV, but Civ V is so easy I could beat it easily with no prior experience of Civ games (I was building roads half way through the continent until I released you can connect cities to capital via harbors and didn't create a single warship until late game) and still got bored till the end in the first play-through so much I declared war on everyone so something happens. They all lost the war by the way.
This has no relation to my comment...I

When Civ V came out, the biggest complaint was it wasn't exactly like Civ IV... Now Civ BE comes out, and the biggest complaint is it is too much like Civ V... Complainers are the most vocal crowd, but being loud does not make you right nor representative of the majority...no matter what you do, there will be someone upset and that doesn't make your product a failure...
