Hey guys, been playing the Armada 3 mod and having a blast. I was looking for a way to disable the capital ship special abilities effects or ton them done. Game run great even during big battles but when a ton of capital ships are around and using abilities or particle effects game slows to a crawl. Anyone know how to disable the visual effects or tune the quality down?
ive played a ton of games have not had a single issue.

patch up got it, had to close steam for it to recognize but it worked

The game is crazy overpriced, the amount of work they actually put in is negligible, probably only took a few weeks/months for all the art 3d and 2d. The rest is balance work so why is this game 30/40 bucks. I cant find any reason at all. I love sins and all but they are taking a play of EA, this is nothing more then DLC
figured it out, i ahd to set the install direct in impulse to where it was gonig to end up putting the beta and not have it install to stardock/sins but stardock/totalgaming/sins. Everything works now
Hi everyone i just bought the beta and cant get it to run. First i already had sins installed and updated. Got the impulse thing and saw entrenchement on the games list. So i downloaded it. Once i did i got an fmod.dll error. Went and check file locations and the beta was installed to a diff directory then sins. SO i uninstalled both, got the xml error for entrenchment so i went and manually deleted teh folders in /programfiles/sins and .stardockgames/totalgaming. Loaded impulse back up, had

i already tried using cd, still doesnt work. Whenever i install orig sins, impulse still thinks teh beta is installed and instantly links it. turning into a giant pain in the ass. I just bought this and have not gotten it to work once

i crash immeditly after launch too. Ive never played bta just got it had TONS of problems installing it as weas, always said entrench was in and could find file blah blah. I found it was installing the beta nad the orig sins to 2 seperate directories so i copied beta and pasted in sins folder now i at least launch game but get error and minidump immediatly before anything shows up
same problem, even when i remove the folders game still exists, ill install regular sins but the stupid impulse thing thinks entrenched is still installed. Launches to a blank screen with minidump
