it is gonna take a vas player over 10k credits to get the buildings and tec up to RA not couting 2k+ metal and 2.5k+ cry for it. Both tec and advent have better econs, so what are you doing with evem mroe credits that you can over power him while he is tecing for ra? this is not even counting the time it takes to reasech, unless your games have tec set to fast, play with it set to slow and its even more deadly to even try and tec straight for RA. the only problem i see

Take away gates and what are vas left with? they havr the smallest fleet size worst econ etc.. What will you give them in place to balance?

the planet def guns one for all 3 races :) beams guass and lrms they pretty much useless right now IMO other then a stall i would like for them to be made into a threat, and thanks!

you guys make me wana play MOO2 again :) One thing a game like MMO2 had was the abilty to have massive fleets running around something GC2 missed out on IMO it has a toon more planet micro but less fleets while MMo2 had more fleets and elss planet micro.

Since i have no clue how to mod, and the few times i tried i messed my install up. Would it be possable for someone to make a small mod for me? i want turrets to have double range and damage, and for PBJI's to cover the whole gravwell and bee 750%. Thats all i need to be happy, and thanks in advance to anyone willing to do this.

Problem is people are assuming there opions make for good balance or for realism. when its just there preferd play style. Cap ships have skills way more hps and shields, and can get stronger weapons as they levelas well as even more hps and shields. I do agree they die to fast in the late game, and should get more % for hps and shields as they level to make them live longer. If they do what some want then what reason would anyone make frigs? i mean a cap ship

some of you make me laugh so hard my sides hurt. You act like devs cant test something without your imput or a mass imput over weeks from hardcore players. Its not hard for the devs to setup a fully upgraded planet, use mass turrets hangers etc.. and then send seiege frigs in and test how quickly they kill the planet, to how many they lose, they can run test like this all day and can easly see whats broken in there game and fix it. I have played beta 3 and loved what i saw, and i am on the fence about pre-ordering it now as well, i am worried about stuff i have ehard about beta4 and retail.
