I hear some guys over here are talking about poor MP implementation... Can't agree more! The biggest, and perhaps only!?, mistake developers made with Sins is to underestimate importance of MP! Game as such is PERFECT for some real online fun - in casual way, in enthusiast way, in semi-pro way even in pro way... Yet that extra few elements of attention MP needed from devs - it unfortunately never received... Total and utter shame :(

Yes, I can't wait for this as well... But even more so for improved online experience! Anyway, will pre-order and join beta as soon as available :)
I was just about to fall a sleep... Thanks for the update and great news to say at least! :)
Cool :) Will get it later today. Many thanks!
Time has long come for global Anarchy but not many understand this as yet Nah. I don't think that should be the ultimate direction. Even as a believer in minimal government, the idea of no government at all seems quite extreme and unworkable. There needs to be some way to maintain order. IMHO going to either extreme is totally unworkable and merely asking for major troubles.
Anarchy seams to be unworkable
Both suck big time since both are based on the same things: power, control, money (...and rest of the crap that goes with it...) Screw it all! Time has long come for global Anarchy but not many understand this as yet :p
I bet Demigod is reason for this... In any case - I'll sign up to this thread and ask the same question :) Any news?

Shorter MP game modes with number of different win conditions!!! This game doesn't need anything else IMHO. Diplomacy is nice and all but it should come only after fundaments are fixed and in place... And fundaments are: better MP system and SP campaign of some sort...
Without mass "pirate support" Adobe would never become industry standard in all (multi)media software... (and they are well aware of this fact!) Pirating should be treated as free advertising specially if you created great product!!! If you created pile of shit and trying to sell it to poor people out there you should be pirated to death anyway... And this Swedish case... Its LOL! Only people who committed cr

UNITY is the way forward in regards to multi-platform publishing :) And msg to all the devs - start getting some Macs into your studios since next to iPhone and Touch there will be more gaming breakthroughs very soon indeed! Apple is coming from a shadow [e digicons]:ninja:[/e]
I have just finished reading nice little interview at 1UP.com and am really looking forward to 2nd mini expansion. However, reason for making this thread is urge to underline one thing from the interview and add one massive YES PLEASE to it. Here is quote: "...Fraser said, adding that the introduction of additional game modes that will make the game more multiplayer-friendly is also a distinct possibi
Awesome interview! This part is genius: "The second micro expansion is really about both diplomacy and the non-military aspects of the game which will bring it more in line with the RT4X sub-genre we've labeled it as. Certainly, multiple paths to victory, especially non military paths, are part of that," Fraser said, adding that the introduction of additional game modes that will make the game more multiplayer-friendly is also a distinct possibility, pointin

Ok cool... So what is final word on how to install it!? Do we need to uninstall everything and reinstall or simple upgarde patch would do!? Why this is never clear it is beyond me >_
Yes it runs on Mac perfectly... I got MacBook Pro and have been playing Sins on it since Beta - that is more than one year ago... Of course, you can NOT run it on OS X - but! - OS X has got lovely feature called BOOT CAMP which allows you to dual boot to Windows (XP or Vista or even Win7!) So go for it! You wont have any problem at all... In fact I will go that far and say it will run better on your Mac than on equivalent PC :)
Oh, so its out :P I better join the DL cue then... eeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Reply to few posts above :) Regarding "fanboy" stuff - lol, just forget it... It has nothing to do with being a "fan" or not but about comfortable, reliable and secure work environment. As professional designer and photographer who happens to be spending most of his time in front of computer for me "comfortable, reliable and secure" is imperative and after huge number of years using Win I can only be happy to move away from it... For the time being, OS X is the way to g
Another thread pointing at over a year old issue... As per what dchan said - prepare yourself for many hours in case of balanced game or about 45 minutes to get trashed by experienced guy(s)... Saying that it seams that developers are FINALY realising this so in latest patch you have rather nice option of "Quick Start" which basically cuts down very early stage of the game and gives you some buildings and small fleet to start with... It doesn't solve the problem but it
