All sounds awesome! :) Saying that, I am still not convinced with the mines changes... cant say for sure without trying it first hand but numbers of it still read way too high for me liking... Anyway, lets test it out when beta rolls out :) Bring it!

Your site has potential - sure... But game hasn't unfortunately... Not until it is tweaked and "expanded" with competitive game modes which most probably is never going to happen :s You can all forget about competitive games as long as single round could potentially last for hours... Once we get at least single game mode which guaranties end result within 45 minutes or less - we can talk about real online presence and ladders... Till then just relax and enjoy t

Yeah MINES... As I said in couple of beta feedback posts - just remove them... Honestly... Yes, it would be cool to have mines in the game, but this will be near impossible to achieve without breaking or at least compromising on what Sins is all about... Call me sceptic if you wish or whatever but I vote for complete removal and proper balance of the rest :)

Mines are simply shit... I have to be frank about this since I love this game so much... Currently, as they are, they simply resemble pile of steaming excrement and not much more than that. Mines need some MAJOR rethinking and if that fails they simply need to be removed... If anything kills this game it will be MINES by blowing right into our gaming faces via ruined yet once fantastic game called Sins of a Solar Empire! Quote me on this if you wish :p<

Few days into Beta so I think it is good time to resurrect this thread and put it back on topic with simple question to all of you testers... How do you find it so far? Does it indeed look like games might take longer (or even much longer!) with latest additions to the game? Personally, I had only one 2v2 30 planets MP game last night which lasted for well over 3 hours and ended up with mini dump - was great fun no doubt about it - however how about this time issue???
What is the Pause button on Mac keyboard o0 I think I could find some use for it if I can just find it... :)

First game I played last night was rather nice and balanced 2v2 MP and Starbases literally did what they are made for - they helped me hold what I got until I was able to construct 2nd fleet and fight on two fronts at the same time... Sure they need bit of tweak
