In the event that we do not get the database back from Maxsim, I have decided to keep the old backup as a live archive on the new forums, that way we will always have that data. It represents 1000's of hours of work, especially all the tutorials we have. I am also looking into setting the wiki back up too. Just trying to figure it all out. DANMAN

Actually the Halo mod and B5 mods are going strong, just in their own threads right now. And don't forget the server switch and forums going down was unexpected too, so all in all its not that bad. Yes, Microsoft's Live Sync. Basically it is a live per to per system, like torrents, but it is live. If you are synced to me, then the moment I make changes to the mod, you will also have those changes. This way, errors can be pointed out, then then when I fix them, you will see them instantly, rather than waiting for me to release the next update / patch. Cool huh? DANMAN

Thoumsin, As far as I can tell, the wiki and everything else has been saved, so all that hard work you did we still have, it is just all the last 6 months of activity, including new members, boards, and actual posts that we don't have, and Maxsim has right now. Yes, you will need to install a second copy of the game, in a completely different location. It would be best howver if you totally removed the current one first, install the game again, then rename that version to Sins 1.05 for reference. Then reinstall the game again, and update that version if you want to have two versions of the game. Also, Just an update, so far I have not heard from Maxsim since last week about our forums.

Someone finally noticed LOL. Yes, the Atlantian ships are based on Boron ships, heavily altered and re-textured to become the Atlantians. I received full permission to use the models in the port, so don't worry about that. I ahve been trying to get the DANMAN GAMES members to be more active, but they have not been, even Cliff who is supposed to give a weekly report on what is going on, since I do not have the time to do so.
