I've been trying Entrenchment beta 2.5. Saw that regular Sins had an update on Impulse, so I hit "update", now neither will start (Windows has encountered an error). When I try to launch Entrenchment from Impulse, it seems to only want to start regular Sins. What can I do (or undo). PLEASE tell me I don't have to reinstall everything [e digicons]8C[/e]

I think the beggining ideas behind "Entrenchement" and Starbases was to make a "Space Cork" of sorts. Missles ships were suppose to be the "Cork Screw". I wish you could dismantle/destroy/scrap the additions to a starbase just like you can do with ships or orbital structures. Lets say (and like written above, happens to most all of us) you build a maxed out defensive starbase; the front changes and moves forward a planet or two. Why not bring the mountain to Mahamid; Tractor beams. If Star Bases had a tractor beam upgrade (full gravity well range), they could pull the ship(s) to them . I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but on my 2 comps, the battle music starts playing when I'm fighting another fleet, but if I'm fighting a starbase and/or orbital structures, it stays on "Quiet" music; very odd seeing things blow up while you listen to elevator music. But far from game-breaking. The range for scouts seeing mines seems pretty short to me still, anyone else think so?

OMG, played WoW last night with some friends, horrible lag, but thought it was just me. My friends said they also all had terrible times with their connections lately. The Devs are great, and I'm no game developer, but I'd be shocked if they are able to get it bug free and balanced in just 2 weeks; and I really WANT it to be released that soon, beleive me. Who knows, perhaps the next beta is really is huge and polished. But still, lots of balancing to do I would think.

I and my friend have the same "problem" Lost, but it was mentioned in other threads, and we just figured it would get worked out slowly as the beta progressed. I only want an update cause, as it is now, we can't really "beta test" any more till the next patch; we've already read or written every bug we've seen, and the game is semi-unplayable due to major bugs and play imbalences (which,of course, how it should be, since it's a beta). According to the OP's stats, there are 49 "missing" games, which means the guy he played "magically" gets disconnect when he loses (except for 1 loss) every time.
