Well, I have to undo my above; it did load the game on my main computer, but, when we actually tried to start the game between the Lan, it refused over and over again. Tried for over an hour online tonight too with no luck. This is depressing, cause finishing a game of Sins in one sitting is hard to do.

Watching the replay of your online games is THE way to get better. My first game, I was "saving up" money for my first Cap ship (Noob with a capitol N) and trying to take out the best looking plantet first (Terran with 2 Kodiaks) with my dozen cobolts. I could not figure out how my opponent got so large/strong so fast. One watching of the replay caused a large dose of both blushing and note-taking. . .

Hey guys, I've played about 6 mp games of Sins, my friend who just got Sins, well, it was his very first computer game EVER (not counting WoW) and he's never in his life played a RTS game vs another human so far. So he and I are looking for another 2 players who want to play a game for fun some time in the future. We know we may not win, and that's fine with us, but we just don't want to be slaghtered by someone calling us "gay" whi

Well, tried loading the autosave, and it worked; I'll tell my friend to try it on his computer/game too. Thanks.

Nope, all 4 computers/games are updated to the current 1.11 through Impulse. This happed on two totally different sets of computers, two completely different games, but the exact same bug happens, so it can't be us.

My friend and I started a game yesterday, trired to reload and complete it today (1.1). It refused to start, just kept us in the Network tab forever. So we went to his house, and started a new game today, saved it, came back tonight to reloade and continue, and even on his computer/Lan, it still would not let us continue out game. Very disapointed, since 1.05 let us FINALLY contiue saved games. Please Devs, check into this bug. <

Yes, you guys are GREAT. For example, bought Civ Colonization 2 months ago; tons of little bugs, some are game-braking, but to date not ONE forum message to the customers, from the devs or distributer about knowing they exist or anything about possible fixes. And you guys already have a quick fix out for Sins 1.1 [e digicons][/e]

I/we would'nt care, except, no matter what we have tried (just lan games vs AI), it always seems to come down to carriers. Flak ships don't seem to cut it. If the flak took care of fighters (we could care less about bombers) things would be balanced to us. But at least is it MUCH more balence than before 1.1.

If it helps Zoomba, it says "Error 503" when I try sometimes. Last try, it download 18%, but then said "connection terminated by remote server". But I'm 18% closer at least [e digicons][/e]

Try more Monilth cannons; they will destroy your oppoents economy, and every ship you kill after that, does not get rebuilt (so do hit and runs after you've downed several key planets). Except on your bottleneck planet, destroy all defences around other plantets to make room. With a small map, 3 or 4 cannons should be plenty. The AI will recolonize planets FAST, and redevelop it too, FAST, so it takes a while to wear him down; sooner or later, he will not have enou

Can someone tell us, in plain English , what the patch will do exactly for play balance. Specifically, what will the final 1.1 do for Fighters/Bombers/Carriers, as 1.09 we think there are just way to many SK, and Flak seems to do little to prevent this, so the majority of our fleet ends up behing SC. And any other play balance changes you think all the "stats" listed will change the game. P.S. We already figured out that ships starting with full antimatter

When I got my new computer (and IP), I had NO idea that a game could be "glued" to my email address. I could not figure out why it would not re-registger. I ended up trying, off and on, for over a year I think. From now on, I guess I'll have to keep records on what email/credit card I used for each game. On a scarry note: my C drive is filling up (Thanks Windows), because, as most know, everything gets defaulted to the C drive for saves ect for most games/p

It takes 3 mines to kill an ant for me (I use 1 mine and two gun-shots usually though); that's most likely because of my high INT :)) and decent Explosives Skill ranking; those skills make a big difference in accuracy and damage. Ya, I too wish the long slo-mo scenes only happened with a critical shot. Some kind of toggle would be nice. This is the first FPS game I've had to do so much planning for; see some bad guys (3 Talons); set 3 mines in a row dow

Put the disk in, and there is a "Options" menu pre-game screen you can click on, where you can tweek the graphics to your hearts content. You can't do it after you start the game though. There is a Karma system in the game, and as for moral choices, anyone who's met the "Family" knows what I mean when I say that you want to kill them, but, if you have good Karma, you loose Karma by killing them. If you take the time to get to "know them" much better, it gives you quit

I have a friend that will ONLY play TB games and Age of Wonders is one of his favorites. We all love Moonbase Commander, it's one of those "Best game you never heard of" types, I'd try that. Civ4 is good. The HoMMs are ok, but they don't have simultanious turns, so there can be a lot of waiting. We use to love Imperialism II and played it all the time, but we never got it working on Vista :( If GCII was MP, we be playing that all

Well, I am going to use Impulse to upload Entrenchment (but only because it's not on a disk/retail). But I'm paranoid about not getting a box to hold. I just finally got my GCII game reregistered, after getting a new computer (and a new email address). Without being able to send in a picture of my receit/disk/box, I'm 99% sure I'd never have got it re-registered ever again. I guess your only "paranoid" if your wrong. . .

Just think about it: If you started buying movie DVDs and it would not work saying "this is not your DVD player, so viewing movie not allowed". You could not loan anyone the movie either. That's what computer games are comming down to :( Seems music is almost that way now; I lost all my music when I got my new computer (I had NO idea it was specific to my computer only)

Yes, we noticed the exact same thing: Since beta 3, we experience really terrible game slow-down, even constanct freezing, near the last 3rd of the game, that never happened before. We play on a Lan, and online, but this happened on Lan play, two different games now (2 human vs 2 computer, and small map).

I almost always play Tec, and put 4-5 Hangers near the planet, usually 2 reapair bays (overlapping each other, and all the hangers), and sprinkle PD to cover all of that. Putting a Planetary Sheild on a planet makes bombing it pretty useless, untill an enemy fleet takes all the time to destroy most the buildings/defences. I make a small fleet, with one carrier cap ship as a mobile defencive fleet which usually rebuffs all but the largest of fleets. And this is allllll
