That worked beutifully thanks, so there is a bug in the UI that doesn't save the textfile I guess. The only thing to add to your tip is that you have to turn on "show hidden files/folders" to find the C:\Users\"your username"\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Setting on Vista. Thanks.
The latest WHQ certified Nvidia drivers are 169.25 - I am running a newer pre-release version from Guru3d, that might be the problem.
I tried to search for this topic but didn't find any. I'm running Vista and a 8800GTX Forceware version 169.28 and I can run the game fine in 1650x1050 but in window mode the game seems to revert back to 1024x768 or simular - it doesn't work at all. I run two 22" widescreen monitors and prefer to play in window mode - does anyone have a clue what's wrong?
