My beef with SCII is simple, why am I supposed to get excited for a $50 game that basically features ten year old gameplay conventions with new graphics, when I can get the same gameplay from the original for $20? I think this is also a matter of expectations, namely I didn't expect to win my first few games. I'm going to completely ignore SCII when it comes out. Not going to buy it, download the demo, visit the website or read the forums. I've never been overly fond of Blizzard games, the art style bugs me and I find their user interface to be poorly laid out and overly large. I also really don't go in for games where the emphasis is on a linear, play-it-once story anymore, and I don't really do multi-player.
