Mine still says "Verifying download". I already had the game itself, so the patch is only 218 meg. It started downloading over two hours ago, during which time I've been gone, and it still says "verifying download".

Mine still says "problem retrieving update data". Rrrrrrrr...
Any chance that the updates to the GalaxyForge will include wormholes in between star systems? That's a much needed addition.
I think public flogging should be resurrected. Not enough to kill a man, but enough so that it hurts like heck and, like the OP said, for the pure humiliation.] I am reminded specifically of a book by Robert Hienlen, called Starship Troopers (great book, by the way). What was basically said was this: If cruel and unusual punishment is against the law, then criminals have very little reason to worry about punishment. The truth is that punishment needs to be at least somewhat c
Can't wait for you to release this mod! I hope it's soon!
The truth is, neither creation nor evolution can be scientifically proven to be true. Now, I believe in intelligent design, and what's more, I am a Christian. However, I can see that it is impossible to prove that God did create the universe. The best path of the schools would possibly be to teach nothing about the origin of the universe, since neither view can be proven true.
I had the same problem you did. You need to go to Stardock Central, which should have installed with the game. From there, you need to register your copy of Sins, using the key that came with the disc. In the case, it should be right above the CD itself. You will then be able to download updates.
I don't suppose you could tell me how to do the glowy Advent eyes? I'd like to make my own portraits, but I can't figure out how to do those eyes.
So, what's the price estimate? If it's 50 dollars, I'll probably get it. If it's 40, like Sins, there's no question! Actually, I'll almost definitely get it. But if it's 40, I'll probably pre-order and get in the beta. It sounds like an absolutely wicked game. Can't wait for some in-game videos!
If you need someone to do voice-overs for the Wraith ships, I can make them from scratch. Just send me some lines and I'll email you the completed sound files.
I would prefer something possibly like the Ori. Like, the Advent kicked up 50 notches. Probably the equivalent of "ascended".
Is there a possibility to add it as a playable race?
I think this game looks pretty interesting. I'll probably pick it up when I get tired of Sins (which, in all likelyhood, will be in the 2030's)
By the 2030s, I'm sure there will be games far better than Sins or LE:I. I mean, by then, we will probably have virtual reality games available to the public. You never know.
Oh, thank goodness it was April 2nd, and not 1st. I was afraid it was an April Fool's prank! It would have been a truly cruel one. I wonder if one of the new playable races will be the mysterious enemy of the Vasari?
Wow, only 3 years old, and she's already a nerd :SURPRISED:
I bought it at the store a few weeks ago, without knowing that I could've had the music for 10 dollars more. Is there a way to get the music after the fact?
I don't much care about what their sins were. I want to know about the mysterious and powerful enemy of the Vasari!
Well, I hope they make it available for us that bought it somewhere other than directly from them. Please, Stardock, hear our plea!
Is there anywhere I could buy the physical CD without buying another copy of Sins?
I finally bought Sins, and it's a great game, with great music. But I didn't realize till just now that I could have gotten the soundtrack with it if I had bought it from Stardock. So, my question is this: Is there a way I can buy/download the soundtrack after the fact? Thanks, Aaronjw
Not for the in-game background music. However the Collector's CD (and the MP3 version) should include tagging already.
Where can I download the mp3 version?
My goodness, do all of you have nothing better to do on Friday night than play Sins? I mean, go get a date with some pretty girl, for crying out loud! Each to his own, I guess.
I don't have Sins yet, but I hope to get it soon. I think I might wait till the demo comes out to decide, but after getting #1, I might get it sooner. I just have a nasty habit of getting bored with RTS games and hardly playing them. I also play an MMO which costs 15 dollars a month, so I feel kinda guilty if I play something else. I'll probably get Sins soon though.
Lol. Score 0.0. But it's still a must-have!
Alright, thanks for the help. I'm definitely keeping my eye on this game.
