Go try out Battlezone. It's a great game, came out in 1998. You can download it here: http://battlezone1.freeforums.org/downloads-bz-1-4n-installer-t12.html If you want to play multiplayer mainly, go here: http://bze.mod-planet.net/

1. Space Force: Rogue Universe Just a crummy game, way too many bugs. 2. O.R.B. Cheap ripoff of homeworld, and not as good 3. Sins of a Solar Empire Don't get me wrong, it's a great game. I just don't have the time that's required to play it and get good at it.
I don't know if anyone has thought about this before, but I went and wrote a couple of paragraphs about this temporal paradox caused be the new timeline. I posted it as a note on FaceBook, and will copy/paste the note here. Thought you guys might have some interesting things to say. As you should know, the we first meet the Borg in the TNG episode "Q Who?", when Q flings the Enterprise across the galaxy, where a Borg cube will soon show up. What might be sli

In no particular order... 1. Demigod 2. Probably Elemental 3. And I don't know if this game will be any good when it does come out, but it comes out this Fall. It's called Section 8, it's an FPS, and from the trailers it looks like it could be a great game.
You're pretty lucky. My parents were the meaning of "ratings freaks". I had to wait until whatever age the rating said.
Lucky you. I'm 17, and my mom still won't let me get M rated games. My dad is on my side and says they should decide whether or not I can get a game based on why it's rated M (so, I could get a violent game, but not a real sexy game), but my mom can't seem to see anything b
Alright. I'll check at Half Price Books. If they have it, it'll be dirt cheap, probably 5-10 bucks. I saw it there once, but I didn't know anything about it. I'm hoping I can find all 3 for cheap, but I'll start with HW.
Does anyone know where I could find like a boxed set of all 3 homeworld installments? IE, HW, HWC, and HW2? I'd like to get these games, but I'd rather not have to hunt around to find each of them. Or, should I just skip HW and HWC and go straight for HW2?
Windows XP, with service pack 2, I believe. EDIT-- I logged out of my account and back in, and it fixed it. It's possible that it may only be temporary though. Please post back if you have any info on the problem.
I installed it, and it's great! But I seem to have a very large problem. I switched the view setting off of align to grid. I don't know if that had anything to do with what's happening, but thought you should know. Anyway, the problem is this: the screen is "sort of" frozen. I can use programs to some extent, but if I try to get out, it leaves the image up on my screen. For example, when I minimize Firefox, it leaves the image on the screen. I
Tamren, Not sure if the SP campaign works right out of the box, but if you download the 1.4O that I posted the link to, it will work.
Hey, mabey if we find famous people who play it, then the player base will go up! I can see it now! "I am Barrack Obama and I approve this game." Or maybe you should just mail President Obama a copy of Sins for free, since the government's already in thi
Most definately. I believe the original ranked as number 14 under Best PC Games of All Time on Gamespot. I'd pay 100 dollars for a quality Battlezone 3.
If anyone here is looking for a new game to play, have you tried Battlezone? It's an amazing game from 98. It's a combination tank shooter/RTS. You pilot a tank, and can take on your enemies yourself, but you also control your units - tell your recycler to build scavangers, constructors, and factories which build better units. I'd highly suggest trying out the game. It's got a great storyline, too. It doesn't normally work on XP, but you can now download
I'm looking around at a few of these games, and X3TC looks interesting. But is it out yet? Gamestop says it doesn't come out till this April, and Gamespot says the same thing. But it seems that a demo and patches are available on the X3 website. Wikipedia says it came out last October or so. Am I seriously missing something? [e digicons]:([/e]
Have you tried RuneScape ?[e digicons][/e] In all seriousness, it's actually rather enjoyable. In most other F2P MMOs, the quests consist wholly of "go here, kill these monsters, get a reward". RS actually has pretty entertaining quests with fair storylines, and some are pretty tough, puzzle-wize.
If a Wheel of Time MMO just existed... a good one with unique spell systems and all. Hmmpfh. Need to bec
Signed up! I have sins, but I got it from gamestop, so no collector's edition goodies. I haven't orderied Entrenchment, and I wouldn't mind that t-shirt either, so I hope I win!
Eh, I'm thinking more of a 3rd person action type game, rather than an RPG. Like I said, kind of like Prince of Persia.
I have been thinking for a few weeks now "Why doesn't somebody make a game where you actually play as a vampire?" One night, I must have been awake for an hour or two thinking up a game, and I went into a lot of detail. I have a lot of features in mind. Originally, I was thinking of a 2d platform game for the DS. But, better yet, I thought, would be a 3d platform-ish game for the PC, like Assassin's Creed, or the new Prince of Persia. I think this could be a grea

I haven't read a ton of epic fantasy series, but WOT definately is my favorite. Definately looking forward to
Thanks for the help, Annatar. You don't have 158 Karma for nothing. But how do I make a new planet? I'm a total beginner at modding.
Problem is, I don't want it to happen every time I capture a planet. I only want it to happen with a certain planet, as if the player has discovered a fleet of ships on the surface of the planet and has taken them for themselves.
I'm working on a map right now, and I can't figure out how to get something to work. Basically, what I want to do, is this: When you capture a certain planet, a bunch of capital ships spawn for free at that planet. Now, I have had some small progress with this. If I make it where the planet begins as being controlled by the player, I can make it spawn the ships. In GalaxyForge, I right-click on the planet, press edit, and use the group edit tool to make a group.&
Alright, I cancelled the download, got out of impulse, got back in, and restarted the download, and it worked! Haven't gotten in game yet, but at least its downloaded.
So, in the new version, can we make wormholes between star systems?
