Saw some posts that people such as I are having problems with startup on the game. I'm still getting the black screen and am unable to play. I have a Radeon 9800 and thought I saw a post saying that they rolled back the driver to an earlier state and it helped. Does anyone have a clue on which driver they were using to make the game work? I've tried a few and can't find one that helps.
Well as of right now, the game is totally unplayable for me. After two clean installs, one with and one without the patch I still get the same thing. As soon as I launch the game it switches over to a black screen then drops back into windows desktop within 4 or 5 seconds. I have tried the launcher from the startup menu as well as the ones located in the Stardock folder to no avail. My current system specs seem to match the minimum requirements and have updated catalyst and sou
As an aside note I also tried Possible solutions: 1. Try turning off movies in the user.setting by changing ShowIntroMovies TRUE to ShowIntroMovies FALSE. and that did not help... I tried running a debug log and found it to be blank... as in nothing in it, no text...
