me and my friend just finished 2 vs 2 with Pirate/Tec against 2 plague, no problems at all, so I'll be playing as Hypercorp now. If I run into more minidumps I'll try to narrow down what exactly was going on
I tried it awhile ago and minidumped almost constantly
yeeessssssssss [e digicons]:drool:[/e] im growing very fond of hypercorp. I had a minidump with hypercorp vs plague. It happened when it played the voice for a capital ship (the siege one i think..the one with a voice that sounds female. or the one that heals.) However, I'm pretty sure this is because I had set the game speed to x6 [e digicons]x_x[/e]

I like it ._. I currently play STO, and I played it when it first came out. It's nothing like what it used to be. The first ship you get -is- a miranda. They really listen to what players want and put it in. So much has been fixed and improved upon.

Have you guys considered looking at models for ships that are in Star Trek Online? I know your timeline shifts away from the super nova, but the ships themselves would be the same. HAving thought this over as I type it, I realize you guys already have klingons and feds done, which is really the only factions to play in STO, so I guess looking at their ships won't help x3 Still, Cardassians and romulans are in there to fight somewhere, so
It's a big ship with guns, next to a bigger ship with guns.
you'll notice is says something about the role for AI, that means its designated as that role so the AI knows how to use it in general, not neccesarily what it is -purely- for. I am of course, taking a guess. I didn't make the mod.
Tried out Hypercorp against tec, was pretty fun despite the accurately described wonky research tree x3 no real problems. All addons, Sol, and just hypercorp and tech mods on.
sweet! happy for the plague models, my favorite race to play and play against so far. downloading now, to which I will play for several hours and let you know what happens :D
I can run DS at all max as well, but with this mod I need to set it to Medium/Low/Low to avoid minidumps.

Not sure if this is something I did or not, but the pirate capital ship with shield healing (and all ion weapons) seems to just stay put while the rest of my fleets move around. Zombie could you tell me in more detail what kind of testing you would like? I'm afraid I failed to pick up on it if you have mentioned it before. So far all I've thought of to do is load of various races and see how a game plays out.
I have successfully run a full game as Neph against plague, all settings on highest, using all Sol, the three addons, and just those two race mods. No minidumps, but I could not capture the alien ships in magnetic clouds cause of disabled abilities x.x This is my favorite mod. It's genius and incredible craftsmanship and creativity.
Robotech and Sins of a Solar Empire
I'm experiencing some difficulties with my mouse and keyboard. Sometimes they lose the wireless signal on me, the keyboard way more often then the mouse, but it only really seems to happen when I'm playing a game. (Not always, but most often.) my computer desk has glass panels, would this affect the signal?
My friend ran this idea by me yesterday, and I did some looking aroound but havent found any evidence that anyone has tried this, which I find surprising. Anyone seen any attempts at making a Homeworld mod for Sins? If not I might have just found myself something to do

I had this idea randomly at work What if when you mouse over a capital ship skill, above the button popped up a single row of 2 buttons, in which you can then set a priority list on the skill compared to the others (example, if antimatter is available for one skill, and all three skills are available on a Kol, then set 1st priority to flak) When applicable of course. Second button i thought of is mainly just from considering the flak skill on the Kol, perhaps a setting
