convert data converts text to bianary, and vice versa. as for new things, no, not yet, it least not untill entrenchment releases (its still in beta)

well guys really, moding is not as easy as it seams when it comes to what the AI can handle, and long games where several codes are runing at the same time. Make sure you restart the gave after you enable the mod for one (make sure you click "lode on startup" and also save often. and yes, epic mod is not the best right now, it has some problems but that should be fixed in the next release when entrenchment is out (not in beta).

i dont believe there is. as far as i know its hard coaded. 1.12 is the lastest version that all mods use now. (unless your talking entrenchment, which then i have no idea). and honestly tho, it was changed because it would take so bloody long for every single ship to charge up and phase, why would you want to spend 10 min waiting for your fleet just to charge up.

lol. well, the effect really did not cut it, and is really unrealistic. maybe something like asteroids with pirate banners or something but the flag thing is just an eyesore. as for other things, once you update again, and all, i wouldnt mind fooling around with effects and searching for smaller errors.

your better off just waiting untill the expanchion releases. and hoping that you can have more than just 3 pannels of research (civilian, military, and fleet) as well as 3 groups per pannel. other than that, you got a LOT of work cut out for you, more than im going to explain really. but you got to create a new Player(name).entity for every new race (contains every ship, building, research, etc for the faction), new buildings, abilitys, ships, research, art, etc.

not really. should work. make sure you are all patched up. make sure its in the right directory. as to the model of the PSI titan, if you fix the engine's and some other texture related problems, (engine is the main pain right now because its really irratating to look at), think you can release the file itself to me for testing purposes, because it drives me insane to test new engin trails when their reversed lol.

still not done tho, i pmed you my xfire and whatnot, i want to make the titans look as powerfull and unique as they perform, so i wouldnt mind talking about beam/weapon designs. also the right engine on the PSI titan is backwards. also the textures look a little riped on the middle engine. also need to have the actual engine point closer to the ship, because right now theres a gap between the model and the effect. a few more notes, was the pirate base supose to have a ring of green skull flags around its build radius (its verry irratating to look at). as well, you may want to look at some of the weapon points, using developer, a lot of errors came up refering to them (altho, it could just be that developer does not love the newest patch as well). (a lot of them were for the pirates). also, the mesh for the PSI titan is larger than the shield, so parts of the ship stick out of it, may want to try to fix

and as i continue to play , i learn to like it a bit more every time. i like what you did with the milita of every planet (having them constantly atack you, so its a strugle to stay alive in early game). it takes a while to get use to the textures for the Advent and Vassari, but they are nice, now that ive spent hours looking at them it least. well, pretty much covered my other concerns in my other post, im going to rework the engine glow/trail on the titans (starting with advent), ill post p

well, first off really nice mod. the models themselves are really nice, textures are really poor tho (it least for tech, advent and Vassari take a while to get use to, but are decent), but no one is great at everything. i know its a little unbalanced tho, to say the least, as well as largly incomplete, the Tec titan dwarfs the cap ship factory (along with thoes of just about every other race) so that needs a little work. i noticed there are tears in the texture for the Tec Titan on the front

honestly, deralict ships was not danman's work to begin with, it was uzii's. altho danman eventualy took it over. and honestly, no need to yell at him for an idea, does not necessarly mean he is going to actualy go and "steal" textures or whatnot.

lol. your problems are rather minor :p. at any rate, it should not be hard, all ill need you to do is send me the two files and ill take a look at what you have done with them and combine em for you, test em, and if sucessful, explain the process to you afterwords. only problem now would be use being online at the same time. (im in a lazy mood so i dont feel like explaining target modifyers now :p)

what this means is that when you start, all the planets around your main planet is colinized. Ie, the home cluster you start with is 3 planets. your home planet, and two planets conected to it (as listed in the .galixy file). by default its set to ice or volcanic and an asteroid. if the value is true, you start with 3 planets, if its false, you start with 1.

well you can incorperate capturable fleets in grav wells so you MIGHT be able to make a special ship/fleet to start with, keeping in mind that it wont have all the normal abilities of a cap ship, such as leveling.
