Really the best thing to do, speaking from experience, is to get on and play with people. Eventually you'll like a certain group of players more than the others, and if they have a clan then you can join them, if not, then you guys can create a clan. With a smaller player base than most RTS' another clan may not be the way to go, however the clans in Sins aren't that big mostly because you really just need 4 or 5 players. The objective of this mod is to create a complete new "race" that will still be balanced with the TEC, Advent, and Vasari. The "race's" name: The Republic I have already started working on the background of how the Republic was formed and how it emerged as an adversary to the other races. (I have a paper for uni due this week, so I may push the background out on friday.) I have ship names available along with their type. This new race only has 4 capital ships.&nbsp

I do have some information, however it is still incomplete - hence why it would require a team. I have a few ideas for abilities, but I'd like to make everything as balanced as possible to fit in well with TEC, Advent, and Vasari.

Thank you for the information ReiverTA. I have plenty of free time which I get paid for - love being in the military [e digicons]B)[/e] Anywho, I will study this Blender Wiki guide at work, and also work on the story of this new race. I will get in touch with other modders for ideas.
