TCA Titan movie is cool, but I thing that blue projectiles are WTF. You should stick to yellow, orange or red. Anyway, I hope that you'll make Titans research locked to prevent "first capital for free" Titans. Old TEC battleship from SoTSE beta :D Hey Danman I have a strange question: When will be the 2.0 release? What is strange in this question? Becase I hope that that 2.0 won't be release ASAP, but in month or two from now. I know that it's a bit selfish but I won't be able to test new 2.0 till then, so I would be more than happy to hear that it will take some time for next release (more time more new stuff for me) :D

Does TCA, unity and Dark fleet will be fully equipped with new/modifed ships models or do they use some ships of vanilla? Do they will have full set of Titans like Atlantians, or they with have only one or two types of Titans? BTW Does increase of capship limit means that Atlantian non-titan capship will be again normal capship (aka experience and strike craft increase by experience) ?? Well to be honest, Homeworld 2 has almost no limits, exept a max limit of races (7-8 if you scram the "random race button"). IMO SoTSE would be really a greate joke if such game, that is annouced by developers as modding friendly, would be so chained by lots of limits that make TC mods a horror :(

I might sounds nasty, but what about strikecraft types limit per ships? Is there is any chance to be able to have 9 types (number of free slots without game rewriting) of them on one ships ? BTW is there is possible to limit strikecraft use via research? I mean if we would be allowed to have more than 2 types of them, the will it be possible to have, for example stock ones avaliable, but more advance bombers and fighters would require research to be ready to use?

I see one problem (this is more like Fs2 than Fs1), there is hardcoded limit of weapon types per ship that is set to 3 types (I guess that rest od them have to be set as ship "abilities/special attack"). Danman wrote a pietition for developers to release those hardcoded limits, but it would be anywhere soon coz it require to re-write the game engine :( HOWEVER I think that it wouldn't be a problem for Fs1 capships as GTA and PVN use 3 types of capship weapons max (excluding Ate

Well I think that, in some case, the're just lazy. they could go beyond 9 types of ships by just adding a scroll bar or button to interface panel. I also don't understand (and this bother me really much) why there can't be more that one type of fighter and one type of bomber per ship (it should be possible to have at least 9 types of strike crafts per ship, isn't it?) :(

Well, ships are secondary matter, strikecrafts are what hurt me most :( To have an UI that could support more thatn 9 things, we would only need a scroll bar or "next page" button, nothing fancy, but would really help in many TC mods.

Anyone heard a joke about french tanks gear?? 1 gear forward, 5 backward. I think it may be interesting if french corvette could be accurate to this joke......................coz in space this actually might work quite well (like having most firepower mounder at rear section of ship) it would be good "retreat escort" or chase harrasing unit.

I'm not sure but I think that cruisers- like dreadnought or Loronar- are very weak comparing to ISD - the can survive one or two ISD salvos max. I think that in Homeworld 2 mod they could stand bit more (4 or 5 salvos). I think that ISD are too powerful (and they bomb planets too fast too). I'm afraid to imagine what will be then you include Allegiance, Tyran or Executor.

second question: In your Warlords mod gallery I saw a lot of nice Correlian ships. Would it be possible to have a pure Correlian side (Corelian navy or mercenary) after you do the main sides (I mean Empire, Alliance and Vong) ?? I think it's better idea than going into Mandalorians (no matter how much I agree that they are Cool).

Is it possible to make Fighters or bombers researchable (I mean not availiable till you research them)?? I'm asking because I wonder if dev will drop that limit of one bomber and one fighter type per ship. If they do, but fighters or bombers wouldn't be restricted in some way then we would still have a problem with them - like having a Tie Defender and Tie fighter in same time, which would make Tie fighter usseles all the time not in mid or late game phase..
