...and here it is again...sigh... The performace drop bug is NOT caused by the amount of units or anything like this. It's already there at the very beginning of a game, and even in the game menu. Believe me it's interface related, or ask anyone who got the bug, what happens to their FPS if they hover over a ship and it's infobox appears? FPS will drop to half. As well in the main menu, where there are more text and buttons, FPS is a lot worse. And hell what detail should we give ab

There has been a lot of talk out there about that, but Ironclad seems to just ignore... ...and i think it's party because of those -not a nice word here, believe me- who always just come and begin to complain about "ooo guys, your system is in ruins, its badly built, it has bad drivers, ooo you should defrag (LOL!), etc." Well lett me tell you, it's not our videocard, it's not our CPU, it's not our RAM, it's not our system! The game has a SERIOUS bug within, wich is st
Yes its a great mod and yes it works with 1.04, but still the particle disappearing bug what bailknight was talking about does really exist and thus should be fixed with a new version. Other than that, i love it!
Hello guys! I do know, that this is not the best place to do it, but still, i feel like i have to. I think that most of you guys know the great title Nexus: The Jupiter Incident. I myself have played trough the campaign of that game at least three times, and i really love it. In my opinion, there should be a lot more games out there like that. For those who don't know what i'm talking about, here are a few screenshots from the official
alright so ive downloaded your mod and ive gotta say you did one hell of a job here man, but i got a question so, when i am in the options/mod screen it gives me the three choices of gameinfo, mesh and particle. and when i click enable mod it only says which one ive selected does that mean there all going to work or just the one ive selected?
You have to copy the gameinfo, mesh and particle directoryes into a directory named bailknight_graphicmod_v1 within the mods direct
I just wish to say that i really love this mod for 3 big resons: - The effects look great! - Space combat is easyer to oversee as you can see better who is firing at whom. - For me, it didn't even change a single % in fps. I would really like this graphic content to be included into other mods! Good job man!
I really like the looks of this mod! I hope it wont increase the system requirements too much, cos' i think thats how it should've look like originally. Altrough i have a question: Do you - by any chance - enhance the shield effect too? Because in my opinion that looks very bad, it can barely be seen and u know... it's just fun to see how the shields flash and glow in a space battle. Altrough a lot of - actually nice looking - shield effects could cause a huge drop in FPS... in t
I would really be happy for a Stargate mod. It's not a problem that you do not have any ground combat and such. True, in SG movies you don't see so much space battles, still they are fun. For an example let's take another mod: Star Wars: Empires at War - Stargate Mod (sumthin like that, i don't know the exact name). Space combat in that is just great imo... And we could have a couple of races, like the Tau'ri, Goa'uld, Asgard, hell yeah the Wraith, maybe even Replicators. Altrough i don't re
Greetings! I also have this problem... Whenever i open something like the research window, whenever an infobox appears, whenever an AI message appears and whenever i have the tactical grid visible etc. etc. i get a serious drop in fps. I tryed changin my graphical settings, i changed nearly anything but it didn't help at all. I have an old pc: P4 2,4GHz 1024 MB RAM Radeon 9800Pro 128MB with Catalyst 8.1 (had 7.3 previously but that had this very same bug too) Di
