Thats the point of having the 3 abilities combined in well timed fashion, to cause catastrophick damage. Anything less is meaningles and you might as well go for progenitors and halycons. Pumping guardians with shields and repelling strikecrafts. I rarely bother anymore with radiance or halopeno... even the rapture comes as a last cap ships for my fleet. Only time i consider having a halopeno or two if enemy is someone like

i spam marzas, and dunnovs. Remove AM, damage shields and magntise any unit that can interrupt my marzas. Then push the button. Recive bacon. i dont realy know, if its too easy to kill with marza or that one unit spammers lack brainpower to cope with that? One marza can kill only assilants and javelins with one shot, any upgradet illuminators will survive. The fun starts when you got 3 marzas lvl6, nothing in game save for capitalships survives that... not even orbital structures. The point being that it can be interrupted. i wiped out entire army of 60 illus, 12 aeras and assorted crap of drestas, guardians and dominas and other shizzle with 3 marzas. In 10 seconds. Enemy caps were left alive with heavy hull damage. I was acused of cheating... my opponen went mega emo :( Also, this post is sarcasm. I love new marza. Dongs.
