im pretty sure valve's own games require steam to be patched. Personally i like the updating service of steam and impulse. Theyre both fast and automatic. Any relatively computer savy person knows to buy the license, not the data when purchasing software. data is easily replicated, its the license that makes your copy legitimate. When you bought the game second hand, you were conned by the store. They did not sell you access to the license, they just gave you data that can be replicated infinitely.

send in your minidump? You know, minidumps arent the acutal problem, they're a file that documents your crash. So it could be either code side problem or your side problem, and without sending it in it'll never be fixed if the problem is on your side.

So I use to use my onboard sound card, and everything sounded great. No fuzzy sounds or anything. I decided to plug in my audigy 2 so that i can turn up the volume really high without any distortion or fuzzy sounds in cs:s. The sound is perfect for everything from playing music, watching movies, playings games etc. However, when I play sins theres a scratchy fuzzy sound now. I've tried lowering the volume and different sound options, but there still is fuzzy sounds when I'm playing sins. <br

the fact that you don't like sc's campaign is one thing, but it is in no way crappy. It has a solid storyline with solid characters that are remembered 10 years since its release.

actually by the time u get your second cap ship, u wouldve already researched the reduce cost upgrade that decreases the cost for mines, frigate and captial ship factories and something else. cap ship should be 600ish i believe than
