Dear folks at Stardock. Please make the OST available to we who purchased retail copies of SotSE. Perhaps consider digital distribution through Sumthing Distribution . They have entered agreements with several game developers to make their soundtracks available for instant download. Please consider. Thanks.

Not to make generalizations, but save for a few this is one of the most whiney, ungrateful, dissatisfied group of people it's been my misfortune to encounter. You realize that the game is roughly two months old and we will have had four updates. You realize that in about two weeks time Ironclad has given us two updates and a demo. A demo which could generate them revenue but was postponed to get out a patch that this group "demanded". You realize that these patches generate no additional inc
I'm not a dev, but I see no reason why you couldn't. Just change the location at time of installation. Keep in mind, you'll probably see a performance hit. USB drives are typically slower than internal ATA or SATA drives.
Stick to your guns, Frogboy. We SP (and casual MP) gamers love what you're saying. If the "elite" think one race has an advantage, they can either mod it themselves or all play as the same "advantaged" race. Some people would complain even if you hung them with a new rope.
Same here. Was working fine, then not. This is first time I tried since upgrading to 1.03. Is this a problem with the new patch?
Okay, bearing my Noob here, I'd like some clarification on a couple of terms I see frequently on the forum. I believe I have an idea what spamming is--building large quantities of a single ship type and attacking with them. Please clarify. Also, what does MICRO refer to?
To be honest, I don't recall. I didn't watch it very long.
I had only played one game at which point I checked and only had the Ensign achievement. Not a big deal, just thought I'd point it out so the devs could fix it. These are the achievements that were added to my profile: Advent Fleet Diversification (never played Advent) Star Explorer (never played multi-star game) Road to Peace Pacifict Mutual Trader Planet Visionary Ship Visionary Tax Collector Export Maven Metal Miner Expert Bombardier<
Hello, anyone else have this issue?
You'll have to dig a bit. The directories for replays, saves etc. are located: "C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_PROFILE_NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire" I created a shortcut to the directory on my desktop, if that helps. I believe you have to have "view hidden files" turned on in your explorer as some of the directories are hidden. Good luck.
I've only completed one game (as TEC) and won the first achievement leaving me at 10%. However, after downloading and viewing a game replay from the site I now have 22% of the achievements, around 6 I think. I was looking forward to completing these myself. Is this a known problem? If so, is there any way I can fix my profile? Thanks
I have this problem too and I don't use FRAPS. It's not the only problem.
Wow, can't believe I missed that. Sorry. Thanks for the info.
I agree that the poster version is indeed a nice treat for the CE owners, but how about a pdf or a big ol' jpg?
I'd also like to see an offline version. Is this asking too much? By requesting this, are we removing some of the added value of the Collector's Edition? Thanks
I find myself browsing the forums frequently for new posts. Is there any way include a link to the last page of a post in the "recent posts" listing. Or at least at the top of the first page. I know this is nitpicky, but linking, scrolling to the bottom and hitting the "last" button is getting very boring. Thanks for your consideration as well as an outstanding game.
Also, if you hover over an icon, check out the infocard. It will tell you what prerequisites you need to research that item. Just hit the pause button and look around a bit then decide what research path to take. You can also queue up several different items and it will research them in order.
In more general terms, the labs are cumulative throughout your empire. They don't all have to be in the system where your trying to build. If you're still on your first planet, Joe's right, you need to do some structure management.
I'm a noob too so I'll try to help. 1. You need to go to Research and choose the Fleet Logistics tab on the left and work your way across the Global Fleet Supply ranks at the bottom. 2. You need to colonize it first, then you can mine what's there. Hope this helps. I'm sure someone will correct any misinformation I've given.
