I just dont like the approach where you get to choose you favorite play style in having 2 smae ships each with different abilites. I just fundamentally think its the lazy way to add 'stuff' in a mod for the sake of adding it. Instead, make it clever, make it researchable, make it distinguishable from the others. You want uniqueness and flavor, not muddy choices.
Don't play it if it bothers you that much. Or make your own. If they want to be "lazy" they can be, their not
Yes, I do that as well, keep the pirates after the AI to slow them down. Of course this can be negative as it can help their caps lvl faster, but I think it's worth it to get 1 or 2 more systems.
Damn the hardcodes. Hopefully they fix it for the 2nd xpac since not much else has been said about it.
Sounds awesome. I wish I wasnt so addicted to Total war right now so I could try it out!!
No, the reason is at the time 2.0 started being made SoA2 wasn't hadn't been released yet. Later on it got released, and one of the devs privately added in the Federation to his version of 7DS, where they kicked ass. Dan wants them included, trust me on that, and it will finally allow the Great Question of whether it is Star Trek or Star Wars that is cooler. (Its Star Wars by the way. No need for the mod to tell me that.)
I'm at about 1750. I lied about my income, right after I got done writing my last reply I looked and it was 16k. I was able to massacre the inuit with cannon fire (I had 50 some casualties vs 1000 or more, gotta love scattershot). Just before I was done last night I took berlin from the Prussians since they wont make peace. I tried to buy georgia from the cherokee but they refused. Not a good thing to do when their already at war with Spain. I always fight my naval battles regardless. I auto
Like it was said, this movie seems to be completly erasing trek as we know it and replacing it with its own version of it.
I dont know why, but starbases dont seem that costly to me (unless we're talking fully maxing them out). So rather then just having a frontline sb, place a few in the next couple of systems they may try to go after, you probably wont even need to upgrade it more then once or twice. You should have hangers and repair bays in the next few systems anyway. Defend in layers, not just one spot.
Drone, you have no idea how much was cut because of hardcode limits. Many mods focus on changing existing files without adding meshes, sounds, textures, etc... This mod then, with permission, brings those mods together with all within 7DS to create one massively kick-ass universe. Please keep in mind, Even if the existing 7DS team adds nothing new of their own and only adds 2-3 mods, that alone will be impossible to do. Do
Best way to learn is just play a few games against the AI, thats how I learned. The first MP game I played was 2v2 comps, my ally wanted them unfair difficulty and I was completly unprepared how aggressive the comp is. So you def want to play some single player against the harder lvls before going against real people.
Yeah, too much learning. Slow at times, esp moving between systems. PVE gets stale. The game is more geared for PVP, which is fine, until you lose 15 million from your ship and items being destroyed and insurance pays 10 million...thats why I stoped playing, for PVP I'll stick with shooters or RTS.
I think the advent have an ability which will incite rebellion on an opponent's world. That's probably how the 'rebels' work is one of those two. Maybe the pirates are the raiders. I don't know.
Isn't that the TEC who has the rebels rising up against their oppressors?
I use both. No big deal. Their both fine, except for the Empire Total war fiasco, what a mess steam made with that.
http://www.eveonline.com It's a MMORPG. You create your charater and decide what you want to do in the game such as being a miner or fleet officer (fighter). You start in a basic crappy ship and have to do stuff such as mine, kill pirates, do missions to accumulate wealth. Once your wealthy enough you can buy a better ship and better weapons. You choose a skill you want to up and it takes a set amount of time before you learn it, rather then WOW where you just grind XP, once tha
Every new colony starts with a credit drain from under-development. Upgrade their infrastructure quickly to get into the positives. Doing this also increases the max population limit. More people = more $$$.
You may also want to increase your homeworlds infastructure too, most ppl always do this in the begining, though you will need to buy some resources from the market for it.
Then the last 2 seasons of DS9 really got me going with the darker side of the federation and the war. And now this new movie seems to be going that way once again the dark side of Star-trek, I say about time!
Agreed with this. Loved TNG, but DS9's last two seasons with the war was excellent due to the darkness and uncertainty of it all.
To be honest, though, it's a sad day when Terminator Salvation has me more excited than Star Tr
The only good Choke point SB is TEC's one. I disagree. Vasari have excellent ways of making a good choke point with a small fleet lying in wait. PJI+Subverter or Grav Bomb = gg. Also, I will keep repeating that the Kostura Cannon will help you get around ANY choke point.
Not to mention that the vasari base is mobile and able to move with the fleet trying to run through.
As in the vasari base is mobile, as in high charity could be based off the mobile base so that high charity could move. Does this make more sense to you now? Even if it doesn't I really don't care. Have a nice day. [e digicons][/e]
I've only had 1 crash so far, though I've had a few freeze up but only during regular battles (as in not campaign battles). I ended up in war against Prussia and Poland, but was able to make peace with them both (not before I captured the entire prussian navy). But Prussia ended up declaring war against me several years later, for what reason, IDK. So far just raiding their lines as most of my land forces are in America. I then took all the huron lands, and just took your advice to go after t
Did you go after prussia or did they come at you? They keep coming at me and wont make peace even though I destroyed their navy and am raiding their trade.
Best of luck to you guys.
ok visari isnt a race for this mod. its the covenant. and we cant use vanilla ships and bases because they arent exactly halo.
Omg, why would there be no vasari?!?!? Vasari are in halo, I seen them in Halo 2 and Halo 3, and in Halo wars too!!! They have to be in there!! End of sarcasim.
Ok, I'm sorry. I figured it would be converted to entrenchment, I just figured shimmer or someone who's actually been known as a team member would do the post, not create a brand new account name just for that purpose.
The Ent-b is a upgraded excelsior class. Excelsiors were around when the Enterprise was still a Constitution class.
