The more repair bays you have, the longer your defenses will hold out. You can't really compare repair bays vs more ships as more ships will do more DPS, but repair bays will lower the enemies DPS. You may win faster with more ships, but you will probably have more casualties yourself, which in turn means you then need to replace your losses, which equals more time to build and more resource cost. With repair bays, you should take fewer losses, plus if its fleet on fleet you will be abl

Tbh I've never thought about it. But then again, I've destroyed entire continents in Alpha Centauri and Civ games. Killed hundreds in the various GTA games. Launched nukes all over the place in World in Conflict. Killed at least a billion insects IRL. And completly annihalted entire solar systems in space empires.

TBH I'm not sure. I would think there should be a easy way to just click on the ship you want to be the leader without having to actually mod it in. All I know is when I create fleets, I put the ship I want to be the flag at the bottom right so its like the last ship to be selected and generally its the one that will end up as the flag.

While I'm not sure about the modding possibilities, like locutus said, they are very protective of the IP. I've heard from other sources it's not DW himself thats protective, but his agency or some such entity. The problem with that rulethehonorverse game thingy, is that it's went nowhere since I first seen it late 2007.
I was wondering, why isn't the cap ships listed first if you build a cruiser or some frigate, for example say I have a fleet of ships and I create a group say 1, the lead ship isn't the cap ship but rather a random class ship, in vanilla sins even when select a random fleet with a capital ship the cap ship is the lead ship
I get that problem with entrenchment. I belive its the ship the cursor is closest to that is designated the flag.

But what I beleive is if it's more expensive for stardock to box it then why not just charge more for the boxed version and make a profit there 2. Anyway I digress. brb, *runs to get a $10 visa in safeway*
In my honest opinion Entrenchment was worth $15-20 anyway. So if not boxing it up helps them save on some cos

I thought their was plans on boxing it AFTER the 3rd expansion is out? In any case, I prefer to have a box and disc as well, but entrenchment is worth it. Plus, their not nazi's with the whole DRM thing like most digital places I've seen or used.

Creative Assembly have proven that they don't care much for updates or customers. If you like TW gaming, don't get the game untill you see a mod you like. I just got the special forces collection from gamestop. I'm kinda scared of opening it because I want the USS Constitution too, but it's not on the box, and the card they gave me was just to DL Rome TW. Anyone else know if I'm missing something?
well his argument does have a point. Many Super ships in many Sci-fi (DEATH STARS INCLUDED) but you would have these dreadnaughts with at least a few anti fighter frigs supporting it. Dreadnaughts are, as i have said, good for "Entrenched" players but get overrun against dozens of smaller ships. If i need to Cite an example, look at the Last Stand mod in the modding section. Mansh00ter has the Soverign Siege Ship that can wipe the flo
I see Sins having a likeness to the Great War in the path that it is apparently taking. In the first game you see a fully geared up TEC, a still strong Vasari, and the fresh Advent. In Entrenchment all sides are set up for a stalemate and predictably not much ground will change hands, or it will change hands so many times as to make no difference. When brute force does not work, the next expansion will come in with more subtle options, like diplomacy

Perhaps a new thread for 2.0 if the main title is so hard to edit? Or maybe a post with big bold, red letters followed by the readme of 2.0 in here so it's easy to spot? I also really like the president's speech before it. but let's not digress. if we are already talking of expanding this function in the 2d xpack, I'd like it to go a bit more in the direction of a civ IV like surrender + vassal state or sth. would be kinda cute to negotiate 'you are defeated,
