No Dice. I can't even get the game to install. It keeps complaining of missing the XML file with the SoaSE file list to do the install. EDIT: Got the game to install again. Going to try the patch with AV turned off. EDIT2: The patch installed this time when I forced it to run under my admin account + turned AV off + alt download method. If I don't post again it means the game worked.
I run Vista Ultimate x64 SP1. I've been able to make patches from all osrts of games work which the developers say would not work. This is because I have access to the installer. However Impulse takes away any attempt I could make to try to fix the problem and instead repeatedly corrupts my install of Sins of a Solar Empire. Add a slider in addition to the tech. You can research the tech to unlock larger fleet sizes. Then you have a slider below it. You can move the slider up and down, the minimum being 0 upkeep but no tech enhancements and the top being maxed out with 70% upkeep (75?). You set a point on the slider that you want.
