Uzii, you and your fancy-schmancy programs. :P I just use regular old Notepad. I used to write web pages using it too. Thank god I don't do that shit anymore.

Trainers scare the shit out of me. I'm very reluctant to even download one, much less run one. Just use caution, that's my advice.
You can use mp3s and wav files too. It's not limited to just ogg. You just have to reference it correctly. You can also add to the Player[race].entity files as well. There's a music section in each race's respective entity file. You can seemingly add any number of tracks to the game you want, you just have a bunch of editing/adding to do. Just remember (again), if you're adding to the SoundMusic.sounddata file, you have to change the top index/count number
You can try though. It's kind of neat seeing the game slap you in the face when it starts up. :)
What the hell is a save? You mean people don't play 10 hours straight? What a bunch of wussies. :)
Isn't "sun" the past tense of "sin"? ;) Sing, sang, sung. Sin, san, sun. :P
Anywhere near the Porsche plant? :)
See, if the chart was like that, I'd actually go to the optometrist.
I was going to pick up the whole BSG DVD pile yesterday, but bought new golf shoes instead. :) I'll pick up the DVDs this weekend though. Can't wait for the new stuff.
From the very bottom of BuffCannonShellTech.entity finishCondition finishConditionType "TimeElapsed" time Level:0 120.00000 Level:1 0.000000 Level:2 0.000000
The problem with sounds and music "from the internet" is that a lot of it can be copyrighted. If you plan on using it in a distributed mod, you'll need the permission from the copyright owner before doing so. Just a heads up. :)
Hope your computer is up to the task. 100 gauss guns around a planet would make mine slap me in the face, shortly before it spontaneously combusted.
Look in the ship's entity file, towards the bottom there is a section: CommandPoints StartValue 2.000000 ValueIncreasePerLevel 0.500000 Just increase the start value. Additionally, increasing the "ValueIncreasePerLevel" value will add more slots per level increase (obviously). The cap ships are: CAPITALSHIP_*.entity, and the frigate carriers are: FrigatePhaseCarrier.entity (PSICarrier and TechCarrier).
Neat. Look forward to giving it a go.
I love it. :)
I played the hell out of Stalker. I went through it 7-8 times (to get al the different endings). Really looking forward to the new stalker game coming out "soon".
Search Goggle for '.dds Thumbnail Viewer'. With that nifty piece, you can view all those .DDS files in the Textures folder as a thumbnail, eliminating the need to open each individually. Very handy.
Well shit on me... That's a nice thing to know (after years of opening the damn things one at a time)... Off to google I go. :)
That's handy. :)
Hmm, my only suggestion then, is to just keep opening files until you find it. :)
Aren't they called that? I seem to remember 5-6 files in the textures folder with "skybox" in the name. There's also the starfield.dds.
Isn't pixelBox [ 50 , 35 , 46 , 33 ]: The icon location is 50px left from the top left corner of the main file to the top left corner of the icon and 35px down from the top of the main file to the top of the icon, which is 46px wide by 33 px high? IE: ?
That's really odd, because there's such a long "cooldown" time on the recently wiped out planet to colonize it (high radiation). I wouldn't think the Novalith fired faster than that. Fwiw, you can have the same colonize - then kill them routine if you have friendlies helping you bombard an enemy planet too. The planet bombs are slower than crap. You colonize it, and the ten friendly (not yours) siege ships' bombs are still en route... That's when I surround the fr
I like it, it gives you more to choose from. :CONGRAT: Chaney, in the eye's of some religious fanatics, ANY sin is a mortal sin, regardless of how minor it is. :) "I once sneezed on Christmas day" "BURN IN HELL!"
That's why I never go to public chat rooms either. It has nothing to do with having thick skin. It's just that I choose not to. Why should I voluntarily join a bunch of teenagers more concerned with calling you a noob faggot than actually trying to play a decent game? I feel sorry for these kids when they grow up. If I behaved even half as bad as some of them I've seen when I was their age, my ass would have been beat relentlessly. For what it's worth, I wouldn't consider GPG's forum me
Sorry about the tangent Terraziel... Uzii, I still think I'm missing *something*. I'll send a PM, if you don't mind (so we don't cock up this thread anymore than we (I) have.
