I think that it is fair that the titans should lose two to three levels for dying, but I see how it can end a game if it is destroyed and loses all its experience. By allowing it to retain some of its previous experience, the titan can still put up a good fight, but there is still a punishment for losing the ship (besides costs.) The fact of the matter right now is that people are running through the game with level 10 titans and no one can break anothers' defense;

So does this level permanency hold for all titans then? So if I lose my TEC Loyalist titan, it will pop back up as a level 10 again?
Okay, so my issue is dealing with the Advent Rebel titan. I don't know whether this is a bug or what, but SEVERAL times after I destroyed a cruel AI's level 10 titan (which has the invincibility ability) ten minutes later, the same titan popped up again! Now, I could understand the AI being able to pump out new titan in ten minutes, and maybe have it to level two or three...but this "new" titan, not but ten minutes after having destroyed their last one, is a level 10. Am I missing som
I'm glad my post got nice responses! Especially with the rather limited resources Stardock and Ironclad have, it is even more impressive that they were able to create this game. I plan on posting a little bit more on these forums. A lot of good discussion happens here, and I want to post some instead of just reading. And yeah, my only major complaint about this amazing game is the lack of 64-bit programming. I understand why the developers didn't do it and

You have set up a new platform for real-time strategy gamers that replicates the depth of grand strategy games, while preserving the action, combat, and "feel" of an RTS game. In time, Sins of a Solar Empire will be considered a milestone accomplishment in the evolution of RTS gaming. So, congratulations! Now for the "mushy
