Disable the Novalith Cannon and the other interplanetary weapons in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

Is there a way or mod to get rid of the Novalith Cannon and its cousins? Having to go back and constantly re-settle planets late game is taking some of the fun out of it for me.
