I'm not sure, I did what you did, mapped cinematic mode to a key took a screenshot saved and exited, then reloaded. I can still toggle cinematic mode after reloading the game though. The only thing I can suggest is removing the key you mapped it to. If you haven't already you may want to go to the effects menu and try toggling it there. There is also a button in game that toggles cinematic mode. I'm pretty sure you already know about it. But just in case it's highlighted below. [IMG]htt

I'm not sure where the new patch is installed. The installer just ran and installed automatically. There is a place you can tell what version you're running. I use the Safari web browser because it loads faster than Firefox or Internet Explorer. I know Safari isn't supported in the forums but Firefox is. I used to just load pages with Safari and then use firefox to post. But now I can't even get either of them to load forums.sinsofasolarempire.com at all. I opened a .entity file and it said I couldn't, so I had to choose a program from a list (normal so far). I just got a new monitor and it runs 1440x900 resolution. Obviously the game only runs 1024x768, is there something I can download or do to force the game to run at that resolution?
