It is kind of annoying how there are three types of asteroid.

That would be rele cool if you guys could make a fourth faction!! maybe the race that has been chasing the vasari in the story!!
What exactly is xfire? I would be delighted to join a clan
geez you guys have this down to a science
wow thank you all
So before the 1.3 update, I repeatedly got the firewall warning when I tried to host games. However now there is no warning. Does this mean that more people can join my game, or does it mean that stardock decided to take away that warning in order to stop annoying people?
Does anyone know a secure advent beginning strategy? I am on the whole an economic player. Let me know
Because real planets are all on roughly the same plane in a given star system, it's elementary astronomy. If you play with multiple stars you'll get significant z-axis alterations in their location (but not their orientation, weirdly enough).
I agree completely. It is natural for planets to form a 2d plane around a star, but why should different stars have the same alignment? The answer is simple: gameplay is easier. Remember-the basic point of this game is that you ha
The thing is, you are playing on a two-dimentional monitor screen. Although it is quite possible to make planets have a variety in vertical elevation, it would be confusing. If you clicked on a spot to move your ships, the engine wouldn't know how "deep" you clicked. It is not very common for rts or even 4x to have 3d gamplay, even though they have 3d graphics. Remember this would transform gravity wells into "gravity spheres," because phase lanes would have to go in every direction.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! You guyz are great!! don't take the critisizm to heart!! Because we all love you!
LIES AND SLANDER a gaming mac? i think not
excuse me? wow. I hate macs, but that is oversimplification. No there is not a mac exclusively for gaming, but if you pay enough ;-) you can get a decent graphics card.
Just remind them that they bought the wrong operating system. If they'd like to play, they can buy a real computer. Not a Fisher Price style system.
lol I am going to quote that to my friend (I am always telling him pcs are better)
Hey Everyone!! Now I know this will be alot of work, but is there a possibility of creating a mac version for this game? I know how much coding work it will take, but I think it will really broaden the sale horizons, and many of my "mac" friends have expressed their desire to buy this game if there is a compatible version. Also, there are very few competent mac games on the market right now, and considering this game's current success, I think it would attract the vast
Ill add you. My x-fire is Pale Onyx
this looks awesome guyz Keep up the great work. I am so glad I bought this game!
I am sorry, maybe I am just an idiot, but why this is confusing me is because I don't know what program to open in order to access my port-forwarding. Technologically I am usually fine, but when it comes to internet and networks I am left behind. I guess the only two questions I have are these: 1: HOW do I access my port (i.e. which application do I open? control panel?) 2: how do I change the settings from there. I have done tons of searching, and have not
okay, sorry if I sound like Im venting. I am just really frustrated. It seems like there is no real step by step guide to port forwarding. I have read many and it seems like they don't tell me how to actually access my port, it just says "access your IP." everything is so confusing

I know fully that those are games in progress also I read some of your posts and they had some incomplete steps.
how do I register?
how exactly do I direct my IP address?
Okay. So I know all this "port" stuff and technical issues have answers (besides buying a 30 dollar program just to host a game) but basically everyone on multiplayer who I talk to has some multiplayer problem. I havn't had this many problems with firewalls with ANY other strategy game EVER, so don't use that as an excuse. You guyz really need to fix the multiplayer, make it easier to host games, and maybe even organize a 24/7 server. When I go to multiplayer I see about 300 pl
nada not notta
I would definitely like planets orbiting the star in ALL directions--not just a 2 dimensional plane.
