Ive been experimenting with them compared to using TEC. Loving it so far. They require a more aggressive gameplay to fund your empire which is far more entertaining approach compared to my experience with advent/tec. Strong hulls, hitting harder, and being able to remotely repair your ships, and finally they can shoot through sheilds has been thoroughly enjoyed. Just takes a bloody long time to build your fleets.
RA is a long term strat. Use your planetary assualt ships with small frigate support to hit their HW to reduce it's population at the start. In addition, take out their tech/resource stations if enough time allows. At the start, enhance your planet. Buy 2 units of crystal. Build your cap ship yard and get a free cap Research the frigate bomber. Establish a roid base and have scouts take free excavators. Launch a small frigate fleet to your enemy and if pirates ar
Him and the red guy are probably playing a bid war still to send pirates in addition to rebels at me...or just having their way with my former colonies and too occupied for the forums.
There's alot of fodder on these boards. Shoot me a tell on the weekends for a few matches. More to learn yet with this title.

Ran a match today and this bloke acquired 3 caps ships within about 15 mins of the game start. It was a small map, 2v2, all settings at normal and there were a total of 8 planets to each side - so each partner split 4 worlds/asteroids. My partner and I were shoring up the frontline and enhancing our economy. Within 7 mins we won the bidding against the pirate attacks. By 15 mins we owned the front line and built in the defenses and setup a small incursion for
The universe is populated with pirates and rebels. Kinda like NYC or SF.
P'ost production houses' liscense music and sound for many media mediums.
You're playing a RTS, when did you not expect people to pull the plug. Seriously, after how many RTS titles did you never encounter this rare creature. The Internets IS Serious Business!
You have sandbox options or play online. There isnt a story available to try and capture your interest into some dramatic tale of events between these factions.
To add to the original post. If this was a demo, I dont think I would have the made the purchase. It just didnt strike me as a title to keep you captured for a few months as HW could between campaigns and multiplayer encounters. This title is definetly tailored to the multiplayer experience, but I wonder who is gonna to actually try to schedule games where you last left off to actually see a winner. I dont see this as a long term title, but I'll give it a shot with more trials. <br/
Picked the title up last night and grinded some two hours. It was a delayed loss to the computer. I spent maybe 15 mins in the first two tutorials and got bored (the tutorial could seriously use some voice dictation), so dived into combat vs the ai.. As a first experience of the title, it has a lot more features to be desir
